MONTHLY JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE-CUM-CRIME MEETING
Today Monthly joint Consultancy Committee-cum- Crime Meeting of District Police Mandi held under the chairmanship of Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS Superintendent of Police, District Mandi (HP) at Police Lines Mandi in which all the gazetted officers of Mandi Police i.e. Sh. Kulbhsuhan Verma, HPS, Addl. S.P. Mandi, Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal, HPS, Dy.S.P.(Hqrs.) Mandi, Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia, SDPO Sundernagar, Sh. Madan Dhiman, HPS, SDPO Sarkaghat, Miss Sakshi Verma, IPS (Prob.), all SHOs of Mandi District, all I/C Police Posts of Mandi Distict and about 70 police officials of Mandi Police participated. The Superintendent of Police , Mandi (HP) redress the all welfare issues of the police personnel during said meeting.
During the course of Crime Meeting all cases which are pending for investigation more than six months and more than one year are discussed comprehensively and necessary directions and guidelines are issued to all individuals to complete the investigation of these cases with utmost priority and put the challans in the courts immediately.
All cases of burglary and theft were also discussed during said crime meeting comprehensively and necessary directions/guidelines were given to all to nab the culprits who are in large and recover the stolen property. Investigation of all pending cases to be completed well in time and challans are to be put in the court immediately in view to reduce the pendency.
He also directed to the all Station House Officers and Inchages of all Police Posts of this district to laid nakkas regularly to nab the smugglers and detection work need to be increased. The Superintendent of Police, Mandi also directed to all SHOs and I/C P.Ps. that special campaign launched to curb the illegal drug trade in this district to be continued in future and to enhance the detection work under NDPS Act, Mining Act & Excise Act. He also directed that necessary steps are to be taken to decrease the Road Accidents in their respective jurisdiction.
The Superintendent of Police, Mandi Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur , IPS also directed to all SOs, SHOs and Incharges of Police Posts of this district that sincere efforts are to be taken to deal the all cases of missing/ abduction of children.
District Attorney and Dy. District Attorneys, Mandi are also participated in said meeting held under the chairmanship of Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, S.P. Mandi in view to discuss the problems are faced during the course of hearing of cases in the courts and reduce the shortcoming in investigation of cases.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION
Case FIR No. 94/16 dated 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Sarita Devi W/O Sh. Prakash Chand R/O Vill. Nan PO Gopalpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/04/2016 Amrita Devi & Jeet Ram obstructed her way and beat her up. ASI Rajesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
Case FIR No. 95/16 dated 05/04/2016 U/S 279 IPC and U/S 197 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Bihari Lal Verma S/O Sh. Shiv Ram Verma VPO Kalkhar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/04/2016 at about 5 PM he parked his car (HP33E-0099) near his patrol pump at Kalkhar. A truck (PB10AZ-4211) which was driven by Kamlesh Kumar hit his parked car who was in drunken condition. HC Prem Kumar No. 75 I.O. of P.P. Hattli is investigating the case.
CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY
Case FIR No. 40/16 dated 05/04/2016 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 879 that on 05/04/2016 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Dhanotu and he found that Pawan Kumar S/O Late Sh. Raman Chand R/O VPO Mahadev Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) laid a heap of sand on the road which is causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 879 I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
266 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 35,800/- was recovered & 9 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 900 was recovered during last 24 hours.
