CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, OFFENCE AGAINST PUBLIC SERVANTS, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION AND ASSAULT
1. Case FIR No. 86/12 dated 25/07/12 U/S 341,353,332,504,506,355 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the written complaint of Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Prakash Chand R/O VPO Dadhol Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Mandi at present Panchayat Inspector of Saraj Block that on 24/07/12 he went to Panchayat Training Institute Thunag by his M/Cycle (HP23-7043) as guest lecturer to deliver the lecture and when he reached at Thunag Chowk, Surender Kumar S/O Sh. Tej Singh R/O Banyad parked his vehicle (HP32-0915) on the road, obstructed his way and beat him up and also threatened to him with dire consequences publically. HC Inder Singh No. 880 I.O. of P.P. Janjehali is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
2. Case FIR No. 87/12 dated 25/07/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by ASI Roop Singh I/C P.P. Janjehali that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4500 ML country liquor from the possession of Noop Singh S/O Sh. Khem Singh R/O Keuli PO Lambathach Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress.
CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT
3. Case FIR No. 88/12 dated 25/07/12 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Neelmani S/O Sh. Jai Ram R/O Vill. Naun PO Kot Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) that during the intervening night of 24-25/07/12 some unknown culprits stole away golden ornaments of worth Rs. 40,000/- along with cash of worth Rs. 12,000/-. HC Prabhakar Ram No. 872 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
4. 293 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 79,700/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 7 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered & 7 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
