1. Case FIR No. 206 /12 dated 24/7/12 U/S 420,465 ,468,471 IPC has been registered in PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Inderjeet Dogra, Manager State Co-operative Bank Nerchowk Branch that Het Ram S/O Sh. Khullu Ram R/O VPO Mairamaseet presently working as Panchayat Secretary has taken loan of Rs. 65000/- on 08/11/2004 from this branch under Govt. Employees Scheme in which written undertaking of DDO was also taken. Now said person is denying to return the amount of loan in time and concerned DDO i.e. BDO Sadar Mandi refused that he has not issued any undertaking in favour said employee. SI Binny Minhas I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
2. Case FIR No 195/12 dated 23/07/12 U/S 325,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Garja Ram S/O Sant Ram Village Mairakusari PO Nabahi Tehsi Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) that on 20/07/12 Arjun Kumar S/O Sh. Roshan Lal, Promila W/O Sh. Arjun Kumar and Jeet Ram S/O Sh. Rashan Lal All R/O of Mairakusari PO Naubahi beat him up and he along with his son Mouji Ram sustained injuries. HC Narpat Ram I.O. of PS Sarkaghat is investigating the case .
CASE OF CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
3. Case FIR No 196/12 dated 23/07/12 U/S 504,506 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Kanchana Devi W/O Sh. Sanjay Katwal R/O Village Naraingarh PO Tanehar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi (HP) that on 22/07/12 Lekh Raj S/O Sh. Rawalu Ram resident of same locality abused her and also threatened to her with dire consequences. ASI Sushil Kumar I/C PP Darmpur is investigating the case .
SPECIAL CAMPAIGN
4. Due to incidents of snatching, eve-teasing, creating unnecessarily noise and disobeying the traffic rules by the bikers on National Highways, a special campaign was organized by the Mandi Police under the supervision of Sh. R.S. Jamwal, Addl. S.P. Mandi. During campaign 111 M/Cycles were challaned under different sections of M.V. Act and compounding fees of Rs. 63,100/- were collected from the defaulters. 6 bikes without documents have been impounded.
CHALLAN
5. 129 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 22,100/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 14 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1400/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
