CRIME REPORT 15 JULY

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.     Case FIR No. 125/12 dated 14/07/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by Dy.S.P. (Prob.) Abhimanyu Verma at present posted as SHO P.S. Sundernagar that on 14/07/12 at about 3 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials of P.S. Sundernagar at Dadhyal and during the course of patrolling on suspicion he searched out the bag of Ravinder Kumar S/O Late Sh. Paras Ram R/O H. No. 280/11 Purana Bazaar Sundernagar  and recovered 60 Gram cannabis (charas) from his possession. Accused Ravinder Kumar was arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by Dy. S.P. (Prob.) Abhimanyu Verma SHO P.S. Sundernagar.

 CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT AND MISCHIEF

2.     Case FIR No. 126/12 dated 15/07/12 U/S 336, 427 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Khem Singh S/O Sh. Dola Ram R/O Vill. Nakarwari PO Silhanu Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi at present driver in HRTC Depot Kullu. On 14/07/12 he was on duty with a HRTC bus (HP63-5317) and at about 11.45 PM when said bus reached at Slapper, INder Singh S/O Sh. Mahant Ram VPO Bahana Jatta Tehsil Jhandutta Distt. Bilaspur threw a stone on his bus and broke the glass of above mentioned Volvo bus. ASI Shanti Swaroop I/C P.P. Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.     Case FIR No. 197/12 dated 14/07/12   U/S 279 IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Kala Ram R/O Vill. Chatru PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 14/07/12 at about 10 PM he parked his scooter  (HP33-1575) near Gaggal Bagi road side, in the mean time a three wheeler came which was driven by Prakash Chand S/O Sh. Sobha Ram R/O Vill. Chatru and hit his scooter and M/Cycle (HP32A-0551). SI (Prob.) Vinod Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT

4.     Case FIR No. 184/12 dated 15/07/12 U/S 454,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh S/O Sh. Dummanu Ram R/O Maigal PO Bijani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi at present chowkidar in Town Hall Mandi that today at about 6 AM Harish Kumar @ Lucky S/O Sh. Murari Lal R/O Laghdhar was present in toilet and he removed and stole away the articles of sanitary system of toilet having approximately value of Rs. 2500/-. ASI Vijay Kumar Incharge Police Post City Mandi is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5.     Case FIR No. 68/12dated 14/07/12 U/S 279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Ram Chander S/O Sh. Mangat Ram that on 14/07/12 at about 07.10 PM at Takoli a car (DL1YC-8474) came very rashly and negligently and hit a baby namely Vanshika D/O Sh. Uram Dutt Sharma R/O Takoli PO Nagwain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and she sustained injuries and driver of said car sped away from the spot. SI (Prob.) Atti devi I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE

6.     Accused Prittam Chand S/O Sh. Nain Singh and Sukha Devi W/O Sh. Nain Singh R/O Kharshal PO Bhambla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi have been arrested by ASI Ajeet Singh I/C P.p. Hattli who were wanted in  case FIR No. 183/12 dated 09/07/12 U/S 498A, 34 IPC and they are being produced before the Ld. Court.

CHALLAN

7.     132 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 20,600 /- was recovered under M.V. Act and 20 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 2000 /- was recovered during last 24 hours.
