CRIME REPORT 11 NOV

RECOVERY OF CASH AMOUNTING TO Rs. 76  LACS

1. On dated 11/11/2016 at about 1.15 AM a nakka of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) was installed near Police Assistance Room  Dhanotu. While routine checking a Fortuner  vehicle bearing No. (HP58A-7707) was stopped for checking. In the rear seat of said vehicle a gift pack was kept, about which the driver of the vehicle  Hardesh Kumar was asked, according to him gift pack was containing dry fruits. Due to suspicious activities and behavior of the driver and his accomplice doubt was created and to ascertain the facts the pack was opened and it was revealed that the pack is full of 500 & 1000 denomination notes/currency. They were asked about the currency recovered but they  could not give any satisfactory reply. The cash was seized and the driver and his accomplice Jagmohan with the vehicle were taken to P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

 

          The cash seized was counted which was 76 lac rupees having denomination (Rs. 500x100x100 & Rs. 1000x100x26).  It was revealed that the driver and his accomplice belong to Himalayan Ropeway Pvt. Ltd. Company, Manali District Kullu (HP). Thereafter accountant of Himalayan Pvt. Ltd. Company, Distt. Kullu (HP) namely Subodh Kumar Verma deposed to the Police  and claimed that the money belong to their company.  Appropriate legal action is being taken accordingly. Income tax authorities at Mandi and Shimla have been informed accordingly and Enforcement Directorate also has been informed about the said incident. Further appropriate legal action will be taken as and when cognizance is to be taken by the Income Tax department and Enforcement Directorate.  





CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT


 


2.Case FIR No. 156/16 dated 11/11/15 U/S 279, 337, IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Hem Raj S/O Sh. Devi Dutt R/O Kuthar PO Mahog  Tehsil Karsog District Mandi (HP) that on  10/11/16  he  along with Poshu Ram was going to  home from Mahog by a Car which was driven by  Raj Kumar S/O Sh.  Narayan Singh  R/O Badogra  PO Mahog Tehsil Karsog District Mandi (HP)  and when they reached near Mahog Nala, in the mean time driver of said car lost  control over his  Car and fell down  about 300  Meter downward from the road  and all three person  who  were sitting  on said car sustained injuries.  ASI Mohan Joshi I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.


 


CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT


 


3     Case FIR No. 305/16 dated 11/11/16 U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of  Sh. Surrender Kumar S/O Sh. Desh Raj R/O Matehri PO Nabahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distrct Mandi (HP) that on 10/11/16  he  along with his cousin brother namely Pankaj were  going to home , in the mean time  Mehar Singh S/O Sh. Krishan Chand  resident of same locality came there and beat him along with  his brother  and they  both  sustained injuries. HC Vijay Kumar No. 866 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.


 


CASE OF CHEATING


 


 4   Case FIR No. 196/16 dated 11/11/16 U/S  420 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of  Sh. Vinod Singh S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Jimjima Tehsil Jogindernagar Distrct Mandi (HP) that Vishwanath Sharma S/O Sh. Jagdish Lal  Sharma  resident of  House No. 2795/1 Full Chakkar  Chowk Ropar (PB)  pretended to be  Tantrik  and  he cheated him by saying that  he will make  him rich( Crorepati)  if   complainant gave him Rs. 1.5 Lac. On this complainant gave him  Sum of Rs.90,000/-  SI  Kuldeep Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case. 


 


CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT


 


5     Case FIR No. 197/16 dated 11/11/16 U/S  279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish  Katoch  S/O Sh. Kehar Singh R/O   Tikri Tehsil Baijnath District Kangra (HP) that  an Ambulance (HP29A-9403) which was driven by  Harveer Singh S/O Sh. Lal Singh R/O Padhar District Mandi (HP)  came  rashly and negligently from Baijnath side and  hit  Rakesh Kumar  and he sustained injuries.  ASI  Ranjeet Singh I/C of PP Ghatta is investigating the  case.

6.187 Vehicles were  challenged  under M.V. Act and fine of Rs.  23,900/- was recovered  and 1 Challan     was  issued under COTPA  and fine of Rs. 100 /- was recovered during last 24 hour
