Applications are invited on the prescribed format for the Recruitment of 175 posts of Constables (Male) and 44 posts of Constables (Female) in H.P. Police Department allotted to District Mandi by directed recruitment in the pay band of Rs.5910-20200 + Rs.1900 Grade Pay (intial start Rs.7800) and after 8 years of regular service Pay Band will be Rs.10300-Rs.34800+Rs.3200 Grade Pay as per H.P.Govt.'s letter No.Home (A)B(1)-17/2014 dated 21-01-2016 on or before 15th March, 2016 up to 05:00 PM . The applications are to be submitted in the office of the Superintendent of Police, District Mandi (HP) by any mode including by Post of which he/she is bonafide resident. Note:-
Posts of Ex-servicemen and sportsmen shall not be filled up by open recruitment. Names to fill up these posts shall be sponsored by Ex-servicemen Cell and Director Youth Services & Sports HP Shimla respectively.
Eligibility conditions: -
Only such candidates should apply for recruitment as Constable (Male) and Constable (Female) in Himachal Pradesh Police Department who are possessing the following educational qualifications and physical standards: -

Note:
The cutoff date for calculation of upper and lower age is 01-02-2016 (1st Feb. 2016).
Those appearing in +2 may apply. However, he/she will provide the +2 examination qualification certificate at the time of personal interview/Personality Test.
The candidates who don't meet the physical standard and don't possess the requisite educational qualification as mentioned above need not apply.
Recruitment procedure:
The recruitment test will be consisting of the following: -

Note: -
All the eligible candidates will have undergone physical efficiency test, written test and personality test as prescribed by the HP Police Department.
Final selection will be strictly as per the merit and reservation of various quotas laid by HP Govt.
Candidates should bring their four latest passport size photographs and all original certificates of age, educational qualification, category certificate, Himchali bonafide certificate and Employment registration card etc with them at the time of recruitment.
The candidates who are disqualified in any event will not be eligible/allowed to take further test.
Candidates must be registered with the Employment Exchange upto 15th March, 2016.
Candidates must be bonafide resident of HP (District Mandi) and should have only one living spouse if married.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/IRDP/ward of freedom fighter/wards of Ex-servicemen etc. must bring their original caste/class certificates failing which no claim of any relaxation for these categories will be given.
Govt./Police department will not be responsible for any accident or injury sustained during the course of test.
Written examination will be of the standard of 10+2.
Personality test.
Vacancies are temporary but likely to continue.
Vacancies will be filled up soon after the selection.
Place of job will be anywhere in Himachal Pradesh as well as out-side the State of HP.
Date and time of test/interview will be announced separately.
