PRESS NOTE
Applications are invited on the prescribed format for the Recruitment of left out vacancies i.e. 13 (Thirteen) posts of constables (Male), 6 (Six) posts of constable (Male-Driver) and 1 (One) post of constable (Female) in H.P. Police Department which could not be filled up during last year as per detail given below due to non-availability of suitable candidates. The above vacancies are required to be filled up in this District during current year by directed recruitment in the pay band of Rs.5910-20200 + Rs.1900/- up to 8 years of service as per HP Govt.'s Notification No.Fin (PR)-B(7)-64/2010 dated 14-01-2015. The applications are to be submitted in the office of the Superintendent of Police, District Mandi (HP) by any mode including by Post of which he/she is bonafide resident on or before 15th March, 2016 up to 05:00 PM. Note: - 11 posts allotted for Ex-servicemen shall not be filled by open recruitment but Chairman of the District Recruitment Committee shall send requisition to the Secretary, Ex-servicemen Cell, Hamirpur to sponsor the names of suitable candidates. 01 post allotted for sportsperson, only those candidates would be considered against sports quota who are sponsored by the Director, Youth Services & Sports, HP. The requisition will be placed to the Director, Youth Services & Sports, HP Shimla by the Chairman, District Recruitment Committee.

Note:-
1. A processing fee of Rs. 120/- (Rs. One hundred twenty) only shall be charged from each candidates from the General category and Rs.30/- (Rs. Thirty) only from each candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/OBC/IRDP in the shape of a Bank draft/IPO to be drawn in favour of Superintendent of Police, Mandi, District Mandi (HP) payable at Mandi. Any application not accompanied by the requisite processing fee or not received by the last date for receipt of application will not be entertained. Processing fee once submitted will not be refunded in any case. It may be noted that no certificates or copies of certificates are to be attached with the application. A candidate shall only be considered against the District shown as his residence in the bonafide Himachali Certificate. A cut of date to declare one's category to avail reservation will be provided in the recruitment notice/advertisement and after that no change of category will be entertained.
2. Posts of Ex-servicemen and sportsmen shall not be filled up by open recruitment. Names to fill up these posts shall be sponsored by Ex-servicemen Cell and Director Youth Services & Sports HP Shimla respectively.
3. For recruitment against the reserved posts of outstanding sports person (as per earmarked roaster points), requisition will be placed to the Director, Youth Services and Sports Himachal Pradesh Shimla-171002 by the Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi (HP) in consultation with District Superintendent of Police.
4. Candidates, who have applied for the post of constable (Driver) should possess valid driving license for light & heavy vehicles and also possess mechanical/technical knowledge of light & heavy vehicles & Traffic Rules. Only those candidates having light & heavy (both) driving license issued by the the competent authority shall be eligible for the posts(s) of Drivers.

Note:
a) The cutoff date for calculation of upper and lower age is 01-02-2016 (1st Feb. 2016).
b) Those appearing in +2 may apply. However, he/she will provide the +2 examination qualification certificate at the time of personal interview/Personality Test.
c) The candidates who don't meet the physical standard and don't possess the requisite educational qualification as mentioned above need not apply.
d) Only those candidates having light & heavy (both) driving license issued by the competent authority shall be eligible.

Note: -
1. All the eligible candidates will have undergone physical efficiency test, written test and personality test as prescribed by the HP Police Department.
2. Final selection will be strictly as per the merit and reservation of various quotas laid by HP Govt.
3. Candidates should bring their four latest passport size photographs and all original certificates of age, educational qualification, category certificate, Himchali bonafide certificate and Employment registration card etc. with them at the time of recruitment.
4. The candidates who are disqualified in any event and Driving Skill test will not be eligible/allowed to take further test.
5. Candidates must be registered with the Employment Exchange upto 15th March, 2016.
6. Candidates must be bonafide resident of HP (District Mandi) and should have only one living spouse if married.
7. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/IRDP/ward of freedom fighter/wards of Ex-servicemen etc. must bring their original caste/class certificates failing which no claim of any relaxation for these categories will be given.
8. Govt./Police department will not be responsible for any accident or injury sustained during the course of test.
· Written examination will be of the standard of 10+2.
· Personality test.
· Vacancies are temporary but likely to continue.
· Vacancies will be filled up soon after the selection.
· Place of job will be anywhere in Himachal Pradesh as well as out-side the State of HP.
· Date and time of test/interview will be announced separately.
