OPENING OF SHIVRATRI SPORTS EVENTS/ACTIVITIES 2016

  1. International Shivratri Fair Sports Committee headed by Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, Superintendent of Police , District Mandi (HP) is organizing sports activities/events on the eve of International Shivratri Fair 2016 at Paddal ground Mandi w.e.f. 17/02/2016 to 14/03/2016.

    Today Sh. Sandeep Kadam, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, District Mandi  (HP) inaugurated the International Shivratri (Sports) Festival-2016.   Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS Superintendent of  Police, Distt. Mandi alongwith other senior officers of district administration Mandi  and Co-Conveners & Members various sports sub committees were also present on this  occasion.  Exhibition matches of were football were played on the opening of above sports festival. 

CASE OF NDPS ACT

  1. Case FIR NO. 15/16 dated 16/02/2016 U/S 20,29 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Aut by ASI Mohar Singh Incharge P.P. Balichowki that on 16/02/2016 he was on nakka along with other police officials at Bhurah, in the mean time a M/Cycle (JH02B-8404) came from Balichowki side and during the course of checking of said M/Cycle he recovered 420 gram cannabis(charas) from the possession of Anil Kumar S/O Sh. Gian Chand VPO Baroti Tehsil Sub Tehsil Dharampur Distt. Mandi (HP) and Satish Kumar S/O Sh.  Hardev Singh VPO Giun Sub Tehsil Dharampur Distt. Mandi (HP). Both accused arrested and further investigation is being carried out by ASI Mohar Singh Incharge P.P. Balichowki.

CASE OF ATTEMPT TO SUICIDE

  1. Case FIR No. 47/16 dated 16/02/2016 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Dharampur on the complaint of Sh. Manu @ Montu S/O Sh. Padoi PO Malanpur Tikkaryan PO Naun Distt. Gorakhpur (UP) that he suspects on the character of his wife so he tried to commit suicide.ASI Bidhi Chand I.O. of P.S. Dharampur is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

  1. Case FIR No. 47/16 dated 16/02/2016 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Ashok Kumar Incharge P.P. Kotli that on 16/02/2016 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Sukka Koon and he recovered 4 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of Nokhu Ram S/O Sh. Shoda Ram R/O Vill. Baggi Tungal PO Sehali Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Ashok Kumar Incharge P.P. Kotli is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

  1. Case FIR No. 31/16 dated 16/02/2016 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by SI Sandeep Chaudhary that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and he recovered 4 bottles of English wine and 3 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Raman Mahant S/O Late Sh. Sagar Chand R/O Badehar PO Mohanghatti Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). SI Sandeep Chaudhary is investigating the case.

CASE OF RIOTING

  1. Case FIR No. 38/16 dated 16/02/2106 U/S 147,149 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Baldev Thakur S/O Sh. Sukh Ram R/O VPO Malyaver Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur (HP) that on 16/02/2016 he was returning back from Barmana by a vehicle along with Subhash and Prakash and when they reached near Chhyad Nullah and passing another vehicle, Sashi Kumar came out from said vehicle and he along with his other four associate (friends) beat him up along with Subhash and Prakash. ASI Brij Lal Incharge P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

  1. Case FIR No. 46/16 dated 17/02/2016 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Nikku R/O Vill. Sihan PO Gagal Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 16/02/2016 Sanju and Tarapatti beat him up. ASI Tarsem Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

  1. 265  challans  were issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs. 36,300/-   was  recovered, 16 challans   were  issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs.1800/-   was   recovered and 5 challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 19,200/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
