CRIME REPORT ON 10 FEB

MONTHLU JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE-CUM-CRIME MEETING

1. Today monthly Joint Consultancy Committee-cum-Crime Meeting of District Mandi Police held under the chairmanship of Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Distt. Mandi (HP) at P.L. Mandi in which all gazetted officers, all SHOs, I/C P.Ps. and about 85 police officials of Mandi Police participated.

   The Superintendent of Police, Mandi (HP) redress the all welfare issues of the police personnel the meeting. He is also instructed all police personnel to be remained alert in view of forthcoming International Shivratri Fair and also directed to the all Station House Officers and incharges of police posts to laid nakkas regularly and intensifies the patrolling in the jurisdiction of their respective police station/police post to nab the miscreants/strangers and also maintain the law & order properly.  The Superintendent of Police, Mandi  also discussed all cases which are pending for investigation  and directed to the all concerned to finalize the all pending investigation cases immediately. The Superintendent of Police, Mandi is also directed to all SHOs and I/C P.Ps. that special campaign launched to curb the illegal drug trade in this district to be  continued  in future so as to prevent usage of illegal drugs by the youth.  The Superintendent of Police, Mandi Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS also directed   to all Supervisory Officers, Station House Officers and Incharges of Police Posts that   the hon'ble Chief Minister of H.P. issued directions  during recent DC/CP conference   to enhance the detection work under NDPS Act, Mining Act & Excise Act and necessary steps are to be taken to decrease the Road Accidents. So   all  are directed to implement these instructions in letter and spirit.

   CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

2. Case FIR No. 38/16 dated 10/02/16 U/S 341, 323,34 IPC has been registered in PS Balh on the complaint of Smt. Bresti Devi W/O Sh. Dev Raj R/O Vill. Bhayarta, PO Chunahan, Tehsil Balh, Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 10/02/16 at about 09:30AM Durga Dass and Mintu obstructed her way, beat her up and she sustained injuries. SI Kuldep Chand I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

1. Case FIR No. 24/16 dated 09/02/16 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in PS Jogindernagar  on the complaint of Sh. Hira Lal S/O Late Sh. Jai Singh R/O VPO Jhamehar, Tehsil Jogindernagar,  Distt Mandi (HP) that on 09/02/16 at about 04:30 PM he was going to his shop along with his wife, in the mean time Hem Singh S/O Sh. Niranjan Singh R/O VPO Jhamehar,  obstructed his way, beat him up and he sustained injuries. Said Hem Singh also abused him. ASI Rajesh Kumar I/C PP Bassi is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

1. 271 Challans were issued under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 42200/- was recovered and 11 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1100/- was recovered and 03 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 14000/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
