MONTHLY JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE -CUM - CRIME MEETING
1 Today monthy joint consultancy cum crime meeting of Distt. Mandi Police held under the chairmanship of Sh. Kuldeep Chand Rana, HPS Addl. Superintendent of Police , Distt. Mandi (HP) at Police Lines Mandi in which all Gazetted officer, All SHOs, I/C PPs and 70 Police officials of Mandi Police participated. Welfare issues of the Police Personnel were redressed during said meeting and necessary direction were also given to the SHOs and I/C PPs
CASE OF NDPS ACT
2 Case FIR No. 324/15 dated 04/12/15 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by SI Vikash Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh that on 04/12/15 he laid a nakka alongwith other police officials at Nagchalla and during the course of checking of Punjab Roadways Bus (PB12Q-9965) which was on the route Manali to Chandigarh , he recovered 2.520 KG. Charas ( Cannabis) from the possession of Bali Ram S/O Late. Sh. Saran Dass R/O Jana PO Archhandi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu(HP) age 50 years old & Tharwan Lal S/O Sh. Rawat Ram R/O Sour PO Karsu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu age 31 years old. SI Vikash Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY
3 Case FIR No. 325/15 dated 04/12/15 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh by HC Raj Kumar No. 49 I.O. of P.S. Balh that on 04/12/15 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Nerchowk and during the course of patrolling he found that a Rehri was laid on the road by Kishori Lal S/O Sh. Magharu Ram R/O Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) which was causing obstruction to the general public as well as traffic. HC Raj Kumar No. 49 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
4 Case FIR No. 180/15 dated 04/12/15 U/S 279,304A IPChas been registered in PS Gohar on the complaitnt of Sh. Puran Chand R/O Vill. Rajot PO Badhu Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi HP that on 04/12/15 he along with his friend were going to his home at 03:30 PM and when he reached at Chhiya Nallah then they saw a scooter has fell 30 feet down from the road and rider of that scooter was found dead. SI Lal Singh SHO of PS Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION
5 Case FIR No. 111/15 dated 05/12-/2015 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC has been registered in PS Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Mahinder Singh S/O Sh. Kunju Ram Vill.&PO Gumma Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt Mandi HP that he was coming from Gumma towards Padhar by his vehicle no HP 29A-2333 and when he reached at Sahal a vehicle no HP 76-0808 came very rashly from Padhar side and obstructed his way on NH-154 and beat him up. HC Chaman Lal I/O PS Padhar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
6 Case FIR No. 108/15 dated 04/12/2015 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in PS Padhar by ASI Joginder Singh that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Boching and during the course of patrolling he recovered 07 Bottles of illegal wine from the possession of Narotam S/O Sh. Jhagru Ram R/O VPO Boching Tehsil and PS Padhar District Mandi ASI Joginder Singh I/O PS Padhar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
7 Case FIR No. 109/15 dated 04/12/2015 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Padhar by ASI Ramesh Kumar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Boching and during the course of patrolling he recovered 06 Bottles of illegal wine from the possession of Rajender Kumar S/O Sh. Fateh Singh R/O VPO Boching Tehsil and PS Padhar District Mandi. ASI Ramesh Kumar is investigating the case.

8 Case FIR No. 108/15 dated 04/12/2015 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Padhar by ASI Joginder Singh that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Boching and during the course of patrolling he recovered 06 Bottles of illegal wine from the possession of Chamel Singh S/O Sh. Bhura Ram R/O VPO Boching Tehsil and PS Padhar District Mandi ASI Joginder Singh I/O PS Padhar is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
9 Case FIR No. 296/15 dated 04/12/15 U/S 451, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Mamta Devi W/O Sh. Jagdish Chand VPO Pingla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 03/12/15 she was present in her home ,in the mean time Sohan Lal resident of same locality came alongwith his wife Halki Devi , entered in her courtyard and beat her up and she sustained injuries and threatened her with dire consequences. SI Rajesh (Prob.) I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ARSON AND MISCHIEF
10 Case FIR No. 297/15 dated 05/12/15 U/S 436, 429 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Gian Chand S/O Sh. Sarwan Ram R/O Lunadha P.O. Fatehpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that today some unknown culprits set his cowshed on fire. Two ox also died due to burning of shed. ASI Trilok Chand I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
11 Case FIR No. 129/15 dated 04/12/15 U/S 279 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Singh S/O Sh. Amar Singh Rana R/O Chowki Baldwara PO Sajao Piplu Tehsil Dharampur Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/12/15 he was travelling alongwith his family by vehicle (HP31A-4530) and when they reached near Naulakha, in the mean time another Car(HP31A-8452) which was driven by Surender Kumar , came rashly from behind and hit his car from behind . SI Bhim Sain SHO of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
12 Case FIR No. 188/15 dted 04/12/15 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Gyan Chand Verma R/O Karal PO Bag Tehsil Lad- Bharol Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 04/12/15 Vikku Soni R/O Jogindernagar came alongwith his friends and obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries and also threatened him with dire consequences. HC Hosiyar Singh No. 873 I.O. of P.S. Joginderngar is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
13 215 Vehicles were challaned under M.V.Act and fine of Rs. 21,500/- was recovered and 1 Challans under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 100/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
