CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 189/12 dated 26/11/12 U/S 20, 29 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by ASI Satpal I/C P.P. Ghatta that he laid a nakka along with other police officials on N.H. 21 at Ghatta and during the course of nakka he carried out checking of a vehicle (HP29B-0246) and recovered 1 Kg 300 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Prem Lal S/O Sh. Kalu Ram R/O Vill. Tikken PO Jhatingari Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi and Murari Lal S/O Sh. Mangal Dass R/O Vill. Dalosha PO Jhatingari Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi. Both accused have been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Satpal I/C P.P. Ghatta.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2. Case FIR No. 188/12 dated 25/11/12 U/S 279,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Vinod Kumar Soni S/O Sh. Gian Chand R/O VPO Ladbharol Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 25/11/12 he came back from Paprola to his village Siun, in the mean time an Alto Car (HP29A-4609) came from Ladbharol side very rashly and fell down about 400 meters downward and driver of said ill-fated vehicle Yudhbir Singh S/O Sh. Dalip Singh R/O Bhararpatt PO Basona Tehsil Ladbharol Distt. Mandi (HP) died on the spot. HC Mangat Ram I.O. of P.P. Ladbharol is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

3. Case FIR No. 134/12 dated 25/11/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by SI (Prob.) Nirmal Singh I.O. of P.S. Gohar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Katlog and during the course of patrolling he recovered 2 liter illicit liquor from the possession of Mukesh Kumar S/O Sh. Budhi Singh R/O VPO & Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI (Prob.) Nirmal Singh I.O. of P.S. Gohar. 

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

4. Case FIR No. 109/12 dated 25/11/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Aut by ASI Ashwani Kumar I/C P.P. Balichowki that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Garashuni and during the course of patrolling he recovered 1125 ML country liquor from the possession of Chuni Lal S/O Sh. Shesh Ram R/O Vill. Katgar PO Garagusaini Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out ASI Ashwani Kumar I/C P.P. Balichowki.

CHALLAN

5. 73 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 11,450/-   was recovered under M.V. Act, 11 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs.1100/- was recovered and 4 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
