CASE OF RIOTING, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, MISCHIEF AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

1. Case FIR No. 61/12 dated 27/04/12 U/S 147,149,447,427,506 IPC has
been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh.
Het Ram S/O Sh. Tulsia R/O Vill. Roda PO Batwara Tehsil Sundernagar
Distt. Mandi that he had sown crops in a piece of land which was owned
by him. On 20/04/12 Sant Ram S/O Sh. Chitru Ram, Surju Devi W/O Sh.
Barestu Ram, Chamaru S/O Sh. Barestu, Nandu S/O Sh. Barestu, Sauti
Devi W/O Sh. Nandu, Nek Ram S/O Sh. Nandu, Naresh S/O Sh. Nandu, Neera
Devi W/O Sh. Nek Ram, Lata Devi W/O Sh. Naresh, Chet Ram S/O Sh.
Barestu, Lal Man S/O Sh. Barestu, Kirpi Devi W/O Sh. Lal Man, Rama
Devi W/O Sh. Chet Ram all residents of village Roda PO Batwara Tehsil
Sundernagar Distt. Mandi entered in his and destroyed his crops.
Approximately value of destroyed crops is about Rs. 5,000/-. ASI
Shanti Swaroop I/C PP Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2. Case FIR No 66/12 dated 28/04/12 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC has
been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Smt. Roshai
Devi W/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O Luxmi Bazaar Ward No.1 Jogindernagar Distt.
Mandi that today at about 08.30 AM she was going to discharge her duty
at Bhartia Vidya Mandir High School Garauru and when she reached near
the house of Sh. Kirti Pandit, Nirmla Devi W/O Sh. Om Prakash
obstructed her way and beat her up and her daughter-in-law Nandini
Devi also used filthy language to her. HC Raj Mal No. 875 is
investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3. Case FIR No. 94/12 dated 27/04/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Sanjay Kumar
S/O Sh. Mangat Ram R/O Vill. Tung Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on
27/04/12 he was coming back from Bhuntar to Mandi by a car
(HP33C-0973) and when he reached at Badano, a vehicle (CH03Y-2603)
came from Mandi side very rashly and hit his car which was driven by
Balvinder Singh S/O Sh. Jarnail Singh R/O Sagrehra Road Distt. Barnala
(Punjab). ASI Roop Singh is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4. Case FIR No 95/12 dated 27/04/12 U/S 279,337 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Gian Chand S/O
Sh. Mangla Ram R/O Vill. Jadrown PO Bayla Tehsil Sundernagar Distt.
Mandi that on 27/04/12 near bypass Mandi, a M/Cycle (HP38B-0769)
struck with a tempo (HP31A-4910) which was coming from Pulgharat side.
This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the
rider of M/Cycle (HP38B-0769). HC Shiv Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi
is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

5. Case FIR No. 105/12 dated 27/04/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been
registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by ASI Sushil Kumar I/C PP Dharampur that
he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Banwarkalan
and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9000 ML country
liquor from the possession of Kanta Devi W/O Sh. Hem Raj R/O Vill.
Banwarkalan PO Dharampur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi. Accused has
been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried
out by ASI Sushil Kumar I/C PP Dharampur.

CASE OF POISONING

6. On 27/04/12 Brahmu Ram S/O Sh. Tula Ram R/O VPO Tandu Tehsil Sadar
Distt. Mandi died due to consuming some poisonous substance.
Postmortem of the dead body was conducted at Z.H. Mandi and proceeding
U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S.
Pahar.

CHALLANS

7. 76 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 15,600/- was recovered
under M.V. Act and 5 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs.
700/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
