1. Case FIR No. 115/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 363/366A IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Subhash S/O Sh. Jagiri Lal R/O Vill. Kasarla PO Ratti Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that his minor daughter Suman went on 11/04/12 to GSSS Bhangrotu for taking admission in 10+2 class but she did not come back. Later on he came to known that Bhupinder @ Sonu S/O Sh. Peeru Ram R/O Vill. Ner PO Nerchowk Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi had kidnapped his daughter Suman with the intention to marry her. SI Chhotta Ram is investigating the case.

Balh that on 16/04/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Ratti bazaar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4500 ML country liquor from the possession of Taru Ram S/O Sh. Jai Singh R/O VPO Ratti who sales liquor illegally in his dhaba at Ratti bazaar. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Lal Singh No. 80 I.O. of P.S. Balh.

8. Case FIR No. 45/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 279/337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Lal Chand S/O Sh. Dagi Ram R/O Ropa Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that today he was going towards Kullu along with his wife and son by his car (HP76-0741) and when he reached near Panarsa, in the mean time a car (PB10DC-2223) came from Kullu side very rashly and negligently and hit his son Piyush and sped away from the spot. 16. Case FIR No. 66/12 dated 17/04/12 U/S 457/380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karosg on the complaint of Sh. Sant Ram S/O Sh. Karam Dass R/O Vill. Bhandal PO Mahog Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that Sh. Khem Raj, teacher of GSSSS Mahog informed him telephonically that some unknown culprits broke the lock of his shop. On receiving this information he went on the spot and found that property of worth Rs. 4100/- was stolen away from his shop by some unknown culprits. ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S.Karsog is investigating the case.

17. Case FIR No. 90/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 269 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Dalip Singh S/O SH. Kundan Lal R/O Kot PO Janjehali at present Manager New World Punjabi Dhaba at four mile Kawari that on 13/04/12 a vehicle of municipal committee (JCB Machine) carried out a died cow from somewhere and threw said died cow in Beas River due to which people of the locality are facing very hardship. ASI Brij Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

18. Case FIR No 91/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 341/323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Sanju Kumar S/O Sh. Balak Ram R/O Nutnehad PO Randhara Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 16/04/12 at 06.30 PM when he was reached in his house, Krishan Chand obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

19. 64 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 17,200/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 14 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1800/- was recovered and 1 challan issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
