CASE OF NDPS ACT

1. Case FIR No. 36/12 dated 15/04/12 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS ACT has been registered in P.S. Padhar by ASI Roop Singh that on 15/04/12 at about 9.30AM, he was on patrolling  along with other police officials at  Chhuchhal Nalla and  during the course of patrolling he recovered 700 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of  Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Jagdish Chand R/O Chhuchal PO Ropa Tehsil Padhar Distt Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Roop Singh I.o. of P.S. Padhar.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2. Case FIR No. 88/12 dated 15/04/12 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Hema Devi W/O Sh. Lal Singh R/O Chambi PO Padhiun Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 15/04/12 she went to Pairi by a private bus (HP65-7275) of Anil Bus Service and when said bus reached at Padhiyun it skidded back due negligence of driver and rolled down from the road about 200 mtrs downward. All occupants (about 10/12 passengers) of said bus sustained injuries.  HC Pawan Kumar No. 919 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3. Case FIR No. 89/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 279 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/O Sh. Roop Dass R/OP Tegu PO Bahed PO Khokhan Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu (HP) that on 15/04/12 he was going by his own vehicle (HP01K-5454) from Mandi towards Bhuntar and when he reached near  rain shelter at Dyud, a truck (HP11-3656) came from Mandi side and hit his car and sped away from the spot. HC Krishan Kumar No. 900 I.O. of PP Pandoh is investigating the case. 

ARREST IN PREVIOUS CASE

4. Accused Sher Singh @ Sheru S/O Sh. Kaku, Sanu S/O Sh. Mohan Lal and Dhanundi Ram S/O Sh. Ram   all R/O Bangala Colony Bhiuli Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi have been arrested by ASI Amar Nath I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi who were wanted in case FIR No. 87/12 dated 15/04/12 U/S 379, 323, 506, 34 IPC.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5. Case FIR No 91/12 dated 16/04/12  U/S 279, 304A IPC & 184 MV Act has been registered  in  P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. hag Singh S/O  Sh. Mangat Ram R/O Village Lasrana PO Sandhole Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that on 16/04/12 at about 4.45 AM his brother Bablu Kumar informed telephonically to him that his Mohindra Pick-Up (HP 28-6281 ) met with an accident at place Balla Near Bakkar Khad which was driven by Bablu Kumar and another occupant namely Kalyan Chand S/O Sh. Durga Dass Village Upper Sohar died on spot. ASI Amar Nath I/C PP Sandhole is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

6. Case FIR No 92/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 61-1-14 of Excise Act has been registered in  P.S. Sarkaghat by ASI Ajit Singh I/C P.P. Hatli  that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 1500 ML country liquor from the possession of Ganga Ram S/O Sh. Shankar Dass R/O Village Bharnal PO Dhalwan Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi  HP. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Ajit Singh I.C PP Hattli.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

7. Case FIR No 55/12 dated 15/04/12 U/S 61-1-14 of Excise Act has been registered in  P.S. Sundernagar  by ASI Gulab Singh  I/C P.P. Dehar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 12750 ML country liquor from the possession of Kanta Devi W/O Sh. Shyam Lal R/O Village Bharnal P.O. Dhalwan Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi  HP. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Gulab Singh  I/C PP Dehar.

CASE OF DEATH DUE TO FALLING

8. Chetan Kumar S/O Late Sh. Tek Chand R/O Vill. Bag PO Chail Chowk Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi died due to falling in a khud.  Post mortem of the dead body was carried out at Z.H. Mandi and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Gohar.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

   9. A Case FIR No 63/12 dated 16/04/12 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Pratap Singh S/O Sh. Sita Ram R/O Vill. Mat PO Mahog Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 15/04/12 he was going along with Neema Ram S/O Sh. Devi Ram to his home and when they reached at Bagood near the shop of Sh. Hari Ram, Khima Ram S/O Sh. Shakaru Ram R/O Vill. Bagri PO Mahog obstructed his way and beat him up. HC AshoK Kumar No. 885 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

10.  Case FIR No 62/12 dated 15/04/12 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog by HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Karsog that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Mamel and during the course of patrolling he found that a heap of sand was put on the road by Bhupender Kumar Sharma S/O Sh. Inder Pal R/O Vill. Mamel Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi which is causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. HC Kamal Kant is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

11. 49 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 6600/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 6 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 600/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
