POLICE DEPARTMENT MANDI DISTRICT (HP)
1. A Case FIR No. 10/14 dated 30/01/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S Gohar by ASI Jeeti Singh Incharge Police Post Janjehali that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Magru Galu and during the course patrolling he recovered 1 KG 500 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Sukhbinder Singh @Nikka S/O Sh. Munsi Ram R/O Village Guru Arjun Dev Nagar (Partly) PO Moga Tehsil & Distt. Moga (Panjub)/ Accused has been arrested who is being produced before the Ld. Court and further investigation of the case is being investigated by ASI Jeet Singh Iincharge Police Post Janjehli.
2. A case FIR No. 29/14 DATED 30/01/14 U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Smt. Naresh Kumari W/o Sh. Bhupinder Singh Thakur, R/O Village Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar, District Mandi, (HP) that complainant had taken loan from State Bank of Patiala amounting to Rs. 22 lac and State Bank of Patiala had seized the property of the complainant of worth Rs. 53,32,414/- which was further sold by Sh,. R.P. Singh and Sh. Ashwani Kuundal officers of the said bank to Sh. Pradeep Kumar S/O Sh. Ram Prakash R/O Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi and Sh. Chhottu S/O Sh. Roshan Lal R/O Vill. Chhattar Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) which is caused wrongful loss to the complainant as well as wrongful gain to the officers of the State Bank of Patila Sundernagar. ASI Ram Lal I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
3. Case FIR No. 30/14 dated 30/101/4 U/S 341,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundenragar on the complaint of Sh. Amar Singh S/O Late Sh. Hari Singh R/O Vill. Sohar P.O. Baroti Tehsil SNR Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 30/01/14 at about 7 PM Prem Lal S/O Late Sh. Munshi Ram R/O Vill. Sohar obstructed his way & bea him up. HC Hem Raj NO. 19 I.O. of P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.
4. Case FIR No. 31/14 dated 31/01/214 U/s 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Prem Lal S/O Sh. Munshi Ram R/O Vill. Sohar P.O. Baroti Tehsil SNR Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 30/01/14 Amar Singh S/O Late Sh. Hari Singh R/O Vill. Sohar P.O. Baroti Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi & Basant Singh S/O Sh. Pohalo Ram R/O Vill. Sohar P.O. Baroti Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Chaman Lal No. 895 I.O. of P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.
5. Case FIR No. 33/14 dated 30/01/14 U/S 279,337IPC & U/S 187 MC Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. . Jiva Nand S/O Sh. Hirda Ram R/O VPO Dabhan Tehsil Sadar Distt Mandi (HP) that on 30/01/14 he was waiting for bus along with Sunil Kumar near the Shop of Ramesh Kumar at Dhawan, in the mean time a vehicle (HP35-1475) came very rashly and negligently from Kotli side and hit to Sunil Kumar who sustained injuries. ASI Chiranji Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case .
6. Case FIR No. 34/14 dated 31/01/14 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Inder Singh S/O Sh. Narayan Singh R/O Vill. Sarwal PO Saletar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that today a tipper (HP65-1469) met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving by driver Prakash Chand. HC Shiv Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.
7. Case FIR No. 49/14 dated 30/01/14 U/S 420,120B IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nand Lal resident of village Dohara PO Rajwari Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (HP) that he is an insurance agent and on 08/01/14 he received a call from Delhi on behalf of IRDA that if he wants to surrender his insurance policies then he can got bonus and they had advised him to deposit sum of Rs. 30,000/- as processing fees. On this he deposited sum of Rs. 30,000/- in an account No. 016001520929 of SBI. Thereafter they had again demanded sum of Rs. 20,000/- and 32,800/- which were also deposited by the complainant in the same account and now he came to know that he was cheated by some notorious peoples. ASI Sahab Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
8. Accused Dami Devi W/O Sh. Teg Singh R/O Village Khandla PO Kummi Tehsil Sadar District Mandi HP arrested in case FIR No. 47/14 dated 29/01/14 U/s 380 IPC who is being produced before the Ld. Curt of JMIC-IV Mandi.
9. 167 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 20,900/- and 15 challans made under COTPA & fined Rs.1700/- .
