PRESS NOTE on 23 JAN

  1. Case FIR No 21/14 Dated 22/01/14  U/S 20 of NDPS Act  has been registered in this P.S, Sundernagar by ASI Brij Lal Incharge Police Post Slapper that on 22/01/14 he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Slapper bridge and during the course of nakka he recovered 400 Gram cannabis (Charas) from the possession of  Surjeet Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Mahender Singh R/O Jakhla Road Near Truck Union Reliance Pump Radhe Krishana Seller Sunam   District Sangroor (PB).   ASI Brij Lal Incharge Police Post Slapper is investigating the case.

  2. Case FIR No 22/14 Dated 23/01/14 U/S 323, 325 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. on the Final Opinion of MLC of Ratan Lal S/O Sh Sunka Ram R/O Village Chamba P.O. Jamla Tehsil and PS Sunder Nagar District Mandi HP that on 22/01/14 driver of Tatal Sumo   Kaku bitten him up and he  sustained injuries.  ASI Ram Swroop Incharge Police Post Dehar is investigating the case.

  3. Case FIR NO 11/14 DTD 22/01/14  U/S 279/304 A IPC & U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh.  Vyas Dev S/O Sh.  Nek Ram R/O Vill. Dhelu PO  Dohag Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that Sh.  Pwan kumar R/O Vill. Majharnoo informed telephonically that Raj Kumar @ Kaku S/O Late Sh. Joginder Singh R/O Ghodan was hit by some unknown vehicles Ghodan link road and he was lying dead there. ASI Ashok Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.    

  4. Case FIR No. 9/14 dated 23/01/14 U/S 3 PDP Act has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Ram Parkash  Sharma, Assistant Engineer Balichowki  Sub-Decision Balichowki Distt Mandi HP  that some unknown persons broke the inauguration board of Rest House Thachi and GSSS Somnachani which were inaugurated on 02/12/2009 and 28/05/2011 respectively. ASI Subhash Chand Incharge Police Post Balichowki is investigating the case.

  5. Case FIR No. 09/14 Dated 23/01/14  U/S 341, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Miss. Bimla Devi D/O Sh. Tara Chand  R/O Vill. Padhar PO Batheri Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi HP that on 22/01/14 Balak Ram and his wife obstructed her way and beat her up.  HC Prem Singh No.75 I. O. of PS Padhar is investigating the case.   

  6. Case FIR No. 26/14 dated 23/01/14 U/S  420 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the written complaint of Sh. Krishan Chand Saini R/O H. No. 138 Jawahar Nagar Mandi that his daughter pased +2 examination during the March, 2013 and she had also qualified NEET examination for seeking admission in MBBS course and one person namely Ashid Ahmmad met him at Chandigarh and took sum of Rs. 50,000/- in lieu of to provide admission to his daughter in  MBBS course but neither he provide any admission in any college in MBBS course nor he returned back his money.   HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 32 I.O. of P.P. City Mandi is investigating the case.  

  7.  Case FIR No. 25/14 dated 23/01/14 U/S 379,336,120B IPC,  U/S 41,42 Indian Forest Act and U/S 3 of PDP Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI Sanjeev Kumar SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi that today he laid a nakka  along with other police officials at Bindravani and during the course of nakka two vehicles (HP65-2910) and (HP33B-4952) came very rashly  from Pandoh side towards Mandi and they hit the barrier,  broke it and sped away from the spot which were chased by the SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi alog with his team and succeeded to nab them about 1 Kms ahead. During the course of checking of above both vehicles he  recovered 3 wooden logs and 20 bags ( 4 quintals )  of Dandasa   which were being transported illegally in these vehicles. He  also arrested 6 persons in this case i.e. 1. Viredner S/O Sh. Khem Singh R/O Ropari PO Baggi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) 2. Govind Ram S/O Sh. Hukam Ram R/O Gausana PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) 3. Mohan Singh S/O Sh. Hari Singh R/O Road PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) 4. Amar Singh S/O SH. Keshav Ram R/O Vill. Bhajwar PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP). 5. Balwant Singh S/O Sh. Surat Ram R/O Johar PO & Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) 6. Bhagat Ram S/O SH. Hari Singh R/O Viil Ghumrala PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi. SI Sanjeev Kumar SHO P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

  8. Case FIR No. 37/14 dated 22/01/14 U/S 147,149,451,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Raju Sharma S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Village Syan PO Lohara Tehsil Sadar District Mandi HP that on 22/01/14 at about 10 PM, Sunny, Munna, Bhanu & Neeraj came in a Neno Car in his Dhaba at Dadour and started to  abusing him. Soon thereafter two cars also came there with 7-8 persons and they beat him up.  ASI Sahib Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

  9. Case FIR NO 6/14 Dated 22/01/14 U/S  341, 323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog  on the complaint of  Smt. Geeta Devi W/O Chuhadu Ram R/O Vill. Kamtha PO and Sub Tehsil Nihari Distt. Mandi (HP) that   Gurwanti Devi W/O Sh.  Khub Ram obstructed her way and beat her up.  HC Bhal Chand No. 542 I. O. Of P.P. Pangna is investigating the case.

  10. 72 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  5000/-     and 5 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs. 600/- .
