Case FIR No 9/14dated 29/01/14 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in this PS Gohar by ASI Jeet Singh incharge Police Post Janjehli that on today he along with other police officials laid nakka at Katharu and during the course of checking of a Tata Sumo vehicle (HP28-8449) he recovered 84 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Diwan Chand S/O Sh. Chander Mani R/O Village Kurahad PO Jahal Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) & Tara Chand S/O Sh. Tilak Raj Village Bhahara (Kamand) PO Chowki Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) ASI Jeet Singh incharge Police Post Janjehali is investigating the case.

Case FIR No. 44/14 dated 28/01/14 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ram Lal S/O Sh. Bansi Lal R/O Village Bhour PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi (HP) that on 28/01/14 he was going from Chakkar to Galma by a car (HP31C-5124) which was driven by Bhagat Ram and when said car reached near Lunapani, a Tata Ace Vehicle (HP65-3863) came very rashly and negligently from opposite side, hit their car and sped away from the spot. HC Vijay Kumar No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

Case FIR No. 45/14 dated 28/01/14 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Dhari Ram R/O Village Ropari PO Barswahan Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (HP) that on 28/01/14 Chaman Lal S/O Sh. Munni Lal obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Lal Singh No. 80 I.O. of P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.
4. Case FIR No. 46/14 dated 29/01/14 U/S 452,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Devki Nandan S/O Sh. Dhameshwar Ram R/O Village Dhangu Colony PO Ratti Tehsil Sadar District Mandi HP that on 28/01/14 he was digging Septic Tank with JCB in the mean time Bhikham Ram Pradhan GP Kasarla came their along with 3-4 persons and hit him with wooden stick (Danda) on his head and when he went to his house, they also entered in his house and again beat him up. They also beat up to the operator of JCB machine. ASI Sukesh Kumar I.O. of P.S.Balh is investigating the case.
5. Kalu Ram S/O Sh. Nanku Ram and Gulab Singh S/O Sh. Lalu Ram R/O Village Mandir Tanda PO Lohara Tehsil Sadar District Mandi (HP) were arrested 107/151 Cr.P.C. on 28/01/14 from Mandir Tanda by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. PS Balh who created nuisance publically under the influence of liquor. Both of they are being produced today before the SDM Sadar Mandi.
6. Case FIR No. 27/14 dated 28/01/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC & U/S 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Prakhar Sen S/O Sh. Rajesh Sen R/O H.No. 228/04 Salah P.O. & Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 28/01/14 he along with his friends Gulshan Kumar and Himmat Kumar went to Bhojpur Bazar and when they reached at Salah Near Petrol Pump, a car (HP31A-4734) came from Bhojpur Bazar side very rashly and hit complainant along with his friend Gulshan Kumar and they both sustained injuries. HC Khem Chand No.47 I.O. of TTR Wing Sundernagar is investigating the case
7. Ramesh Chand S/O Sh. Dore Ram R/O Vill. Bagi O Khalwan Sub Tehsil Balichowki Distt. Mandi (HP) fell down on 28/01/13 at Baggi and died on the spot. Postmortem of the dead body carried out at Z.H. Mandi and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Aut.
8. 86 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs. 15,400/- and 8 challanS made under COTPA & fined Rs.800/- .
