Bassi that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 4500 ML Country liquor from the possession of Sardaru Ram S/O Sh. 2 Case FIR No. 15/14 dated 12/1/14 U/S 39 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by Insp. Parkash Chand I/C of SIU that on 12/1/14 at about 5PM when he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 6750 ML English wine from the possession of Dalip Singh S/O Sh. Puran Chand R/O Satohal Tehsil Mandi Distt. Mandi (H.P) from his shop . Insp. Parkash Chand I/C of SIU Mandi is investigating the case.

3 Case FIR No. 16/14 dateed 12/1/14 U/S 20 of ND&PS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by SI Vinod Thakur that on 12/1/14 he was on Traffic checking along with other police officials and during the course of traffic checking they carried out the search of a Pvt. Bus Ram Parivahan and recovered 174gms. cannabis(Charas) from the possession of Bhupinder Singh S/O Late Sh. Nidhi Singh R/O Vill. Sish P.O. Thela Tehsil Bhunter Distt. Kullu (HP). SI Vinod Thukar I/O of P.S. Sadar Mandi (HP) is investigating the case .

4 Case FIR No. 17/14 dated 13/01/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Labh Singh Dharwal S/O Late Sh. Hirda Ram R/O Sai P.O. Saigaloo Tehsil Mandi, Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that 13/01/14 at about 9:15 AM that when he was present at the temple, in mean time he heard the sound of collapse of vehicle and found that one person lying on the road along with his scooter and one truck ran away rashly from the spot . Kikar Singh R/O Boda Tehsil Palampur Distt. Kangra (H.P.) HC Manoj Kumar No. 50 I/O of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case

6 Case FIR No. 23/14 dated 12/01/14 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by HC Chint Ram No. 873 I/O of P.S. Balh that he laid a nakka along with other police officials and during the nakkabandi they carried out the search of Bus No. (HP65-2077) having route Mandi to Bilaspur and recovered the 4.5 Kg cannabis(Charas) from the possession of Vir Chand S/O Sh. Daya Ram R/O Rishta Tehsil Anni Distt. Kullu (HP). HC Chint Ram No. 873 I/O of P.S. Balh is investigating the case .
CASE OF OFFENCE AGAINST PUBLIC SERVANT
7 Case FIR No. 13/14 dated 12/01/14 U/S 353, 333 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Bhag Singh R/O Lower Barot P.O. Fatahpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (H.P.) presently working as a conductor HRTC Depot Sundernagar that on 12/01/14 he along with driver Prem Raj were going to Rewalsar route on the Bus No. (HP65-7561) and at about 1:20 PM when the bus reached near Kapahi in mean time Kashmir Singh obstruct him and also beat him up. HC Lalit Kumar No. 26 I/O of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case

8 68 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 10,900/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 7challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered and 3 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours
