POLICE DEPARTMENT                  MANDI DISTRICT

                                               

1. Case FIR No. 38/14 dated 24/01/14 U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by SI Sandeep Sharma I.O. of P.S. Balh that on 23/01/14 he laid nakka along with other police officials at Nagchala and during the course of nakka he recovered 10 boxes (120 bottles) of  English wine, 23 boxes(276 bottles)  of country liquor and 1 box (12 bottles) of  bear from a pickup (HP66-3637) and driver of said vehicle sped away from the spot. Above vehicle along with recovered liquor were taken in possession and further investigation of the case is being carried out by  SI Sandeep Sharma I.O. of P.S. Balh. 

2. Accused Dhandev S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O VPO Nagchala Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and Meena Devi W/O Sh. Dhandev resident of same locality have been arrested in case FIR No. 28/14 dated 19/01/14 U/S 498A,504,494 IPC who are being produced before the Ld. Court of JMIC-IV Mandi.

    

3. 89 vehicles were challaned and compounded to Rs.  11,300/-     and 10 challans  made under COTPA & fined  Rs.1000/- .
