CRIME REPORT18 FEB.

CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.     Case FIR No. 35/13 dated 17/02/13 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by ASI Vijay Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sundenrmnagar that on 17/02/13 he laid a nakka at Pungh along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 103 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Nitesh Sharma S/O Sh. Surender Kumar Sharma   and 25 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of  Rohit Diman S/O Sh. Mulakh Raj. ASI Vijay Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

 CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2.     Case FIR No. 46/13 dated 17/02/13 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Anil Kumar S/O Sh. Nand Lal R/O Dun PO Kotlu Brahamna Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur (HP) that on 17/02/13 he was going from Yamunanagar to Kullu by a truck (HP)24B-1813) and when he reached near Seven Mile, an Xylo (PB01-9716) came from Kullu side very rashly and struck with his truck and driver of said vehicle sustained injuries. HC Manohar Lal No. 15 I.O. of Highway Traffic Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.     Case FIR No. 47/13 dated 17/02/13 U/S 279,304 A IPC and U/S 185 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Naresh Kumar that he received telephonic information regarding accident and when he reached on the spot at Sauli Khud, he found that a M/Cycle rider found dead on the N.H.21. Incharge Highway Patrol is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

4.     Case FIR No. 42/13 dated 18/02/13 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by HC Kamal Deep No. 888 that he was on patrolling at Hawani Galu and during the course of patrolling he recovered 144 bottles (108000 ML) of country liquor from the possession of Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Jawali PO Patrighat Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP). HC Kamal Deep No. 888 I.O. of P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.

 CHALLAN

5.     39 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 8500/-   was recovered under M.V. Act and 5  challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 600/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
