CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.      Case FIR No. 56/13 dated 24/02/13 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by HC Vijay Kumar No. 405 I.O. of P.P. City Mandi that on 24/02/13 at about 8.45 PM he laid a nakka at Pulgharat and during the course of nakka he recovered 80 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Ram Krishan S/O Sh. Dhani Ram R/O VPO Saroa Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP). HC Vijay Kumar No. 405 I.O. of P.P. City Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2.      Case FIR No. 57/12 dated 25/02/13 U/S 452,323,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Smt. Pooja Devi W/O Sh. Chet Ram R/O Nalhog PO Baryara Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 25/02/13 at about 05.30 AM she was present in her bathroom, in the mean time Govind Ram S/O Sh. Dila Ram R/O Nalhog PO Baryara came in her bathroom and beat her up and also threatened to her. HC Shiv Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.      Case FIR No. 21/13 dated 24/02/13 U/S  279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act  has been registered in P.S. Aut  on the complaint of Smt. Jindi Devi W/O Sh.  Ved Ram  R/O  Prajounidhar  P.O. Dhawerd Distt. Mandi (HP)  that  on  24/02/13 at about  03:30 PM  near Thalout Smt.  Devki Devi was crossing the road, in mean time  a  Motor Cycle  (PB56B-6786) came very rashly from Mandi side and hit her and she sustained injuries. This accident was occurred due to rash and negligent riding by M/Cycle rider  Nihal Goyal R/O House No. 113/6 Samkhetar Bazaar  Mandi. ASI  Chaman Lal I/O of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT AND UNDER INDIAN FOREST ACT

4.      Case FIR No. 20/13  dated 24/02/13  U/S  379 IPC   & U/S 41,42 of IF  Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony by  SI Binny Minhas that on 24/02/13 at about 2 PM he was on patrolling along with other Police officials  at Nehera and during the course of patrolling he recovered 18 logs of Cheel tree which were  carrying by  Sewak Ram, Roshan Lal  and Duni Chand  in two  tractors (HP65-2245 ) &(HP31A-4916). Accused have been arrested and further investigating of the case is being carried out by  SI Binny Minhas  SHO of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

CASE OF HURT  

5.      Case FIR No. 21/13  dated 24/02/13 U/S  325, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony  on the complaint of  Sh. Girdhari  Lal S/O Sh.  Nand Lal R/O village  Kamand P.O. Chowki  Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that  on  06/02/13 at about  7:30 PM  near Kamand  Lok Nath  and  Ankush   beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Karan Singh No. 24 I/O of  P.S. BSL Colony   Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

6.      Case FIR No. 43/13 dated 24/02/13  U/S 341, 323 , 506, 34 IPC has been registered  in P.S.  Sundernagar on the complaint of  Sh.  Rahul  Chandel  S/O  Sh. Brahmpal  Chandel   R/O  House No. 244/3  Pungh  P.O. Chatrokhari Tehsil Sundernagar  Distt. Mandi  that  on  24/02/13 at about 6.15 PM   when  he was going   towards  BBMB lake along with his  friend Sonu, in mean time  Sunny  Walia came there along with his friends, obstruct his way  and beat  him up  and also threaten him. HC Pawan Kumar No. 919 I/O of  P.S.  Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

7.      Case FIR No. 44/13 dated 24/02/13 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Sunny Walia S/O Sh. Suresh Kumar R/O H. No. 397A/4 Salah near Dental College Sundernagar Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 24/02/13 at about 5 PM he was going for evening walk towards Sundernagar lake and on the way Rahul along with his friend obstructed his way and beat him up and also threatened to him. HC Ravinder Singh No. 863 I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

8.      Case FIR No. 59/3 dated 24/02/13 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by HC Jagdish Chand No. 43 I.O. of P.P. Dharampur that he was on patrolling at Chowki along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3750 ML English wine and 3000 ML country liquor from the possession of Surender Kumar S/O Sh. Hukam Chand R/O Vill. Chowki PO Mandap Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP). HC Jagdish Chand No. 43 I.O. of P.P. Dharampur is investigating the case.

 CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

9.      Case FIR No. 60/13 dated 24/02/13 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkagaht on the complaint of Sh. Shashi Kumar S/O Sh. Balbir Singh R/O Vill. Salag PO Gehra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 24/02/13 he was travelling by a jeep (HP22-4471) along with its driver and other two persons and when said jeep reached nearby Shalag, driver of said jeep lost control over it and rolled down from the road. In this mishap Sh. Deewan Chand S/O Sh. Mahant RTam R/O Vill. Shalag PO Gehra died on the spot and he along with other two persons sustained injuries. HC Prakash Chand I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

10. 73  challans were issued and fine of Rs. 14,900/-  was recovered under M.V. Act and 14 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs.1400/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
