CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.      Case FIR No. 14/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 15 NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by ASI Nanak Ram I.O. of  P.S. BSL Colony that today at about 11.15 AM he laid a nakka at Naresh Chowk along with other police officials and during the course of nakka he recovered 380 Gram poppy straw from the possession of Narender Kumar resident of  Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out by ASI Nanak Ram I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2.      Case FIR No. 27/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 452,323,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/O Sh. Tulsi Ram R/O Bari PO Dhawal Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 06/02/13 his cousin Kamlesh Kumar S/O Sh. Mastana Ram resident of same locality entered in his kitchen and beat him up along with his wife Primila Devi and daughter. ASI Shanti Swaroop I/C P.P. Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.      Case FIR No. 16/13 dated 06/02/13 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Shekhar Rana S/O Sh. Kishan Singh R/O VPO Padharana Tehsil Garhshankar Distt. Hoshiarpur (PB) that on 06/02/13 he was coming back from Manali towards Mandi by his inova car (PB01-8831) and said car reached near Aut tunnel, driver of his car lost control over it and rolled down from the road. In this mishap complainant along with Sh. Sonal Rana, Sh. Vivek Rana and driver Naresh Singh  sustained injuries.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4.      Case FIR No. 32/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 279 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Singh Rana S/O Sh. Amar Singh Rana R/O Vill. Chowki Baldwara PO Sajao Piplu Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that  a vehicle (HP64-3421) hit his car (HP31-4590) and sped away from the spot. HC Vijay Kumar I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

5.      Case FIR No. 34/13 dated 06/02/13 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Hem Singh S/O Sh. Karam Singh R/O Vill. Chambi PO Padiun Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 06/02/13 he was   travelling by his car (HP53-4300)   and at about 4 PM when they reached near Bayar, driver Yudh Chand lost control over it and  said car rolled down from the road. In this mishap complainant, his wife and driver Yudh Chand sustained injuries. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF RIOTING, CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND HURT

6.      Case FIR No. 35/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 147,149,451,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Mohinder Singh R/O Gaddal PO Alathu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 07/02/13 he was present in his house, in the mean time Vipin and four other accomplishes  came there and beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Durga Dass I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF KIDNAPPING AND ABDUCTION

7.      Case FIR No. 41/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 364,365 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint Miss Pooja Pathania D/O Sh. Tara Chand R/O VPO Tihra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that marriage of her elder brother Sh. Rajan Sushant was fixed on 3^rd and 4^th February, 2013. On 29/01/13 her brother had gone to Chandigarh for purchasing in c/w his marriage but he didn't return back so far and his mobile phone is also responding as switched off.  ASI Om Prakash I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE BURGLARY AND THEFT

8.      Case FIR No. 42/13 dated 07/02/13 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Soma Devi W/O Sh. Bhagi Rath R/O village Ambi Mohi PO Pingla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that during the intervening night of 06-07/02/13 some unknown culprits stole away some house hold items and cash of worth Rs. 10,000/-. Approximately total value of stolen property is about Rs. 15,800/-. ASI Amar Nath I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

9.      42 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 1600/-   was recovered under M.V. Act and 19 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 2300/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
