PRESS RELEASE ON 28 JULY

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1.  Case FIR No.194/15 dated 27/07/15  U/S  279, 337  IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the  complaint of  Sh. Pritam Singh  S/O Sh. Sukh Sunder R/O  Lehari PO  Singo Tehsil & Distt. Bhatinda (PB)  that on 27/07/15  he was  going to Manikaran by Motor Cycle (PB03AL-6622)  and  when they reached   at Kangu in the mean time  a Jeep (PB32P-0911)   came rashly  from Sundernagar side and  hit his  Motor Cycle.  ASI  Rajender Thakur I/C of  PP  Slapper is investigating  the case.

CASE OF KIDNAPPING / ABDUCTION

2.  Case FIR No. 165/15 dated 27/7/15 U/S 363,366 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Gir S/O Govind Ram R/O Village Soja PO Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi HP that on 25/7/15 his daughter Arti Devi went to School and did not returned to home. He suspect that someone has kidnapped her daughter. SI Vishal Rathore I/C PP Pandoh is investigating the case.

 CASE OF EXCISE ACT

Case FIR No. 198/15 dated 27/07/2015 U/S 39 of  HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Balh by ASI Rajesh Kumar I/C PP Rewalsar that on 27/07/2015 at about 6:45 PM he was on patrolling at Dhargalu along with other Police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 05 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Leela Dhar S/O Late Sh. Ramditta R/O Village Lehra PO Dhargalu Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi HP. ASI Rajesh Kumar is investigating the case.


CASE OF PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES ACT

3.  Case FIR NO 113/15dated 27/07/2015 U/S 341 IPC and 3,of SC/ST ACT 1989 has been registered at PS Jogindernagar on the complaint of Miss Asha Devi D/O Sh. Anant Ram R/O Vill. Ghatashani Lakhwan PO Jhatingari Tehsil Padhar Distt Mandi HP  that on 20/7/2015 she went to Mata Jalpa Temple at Ghatashani along with her relatives. There Smt. Krishna Devi W/O Sh. Kehar Singh R/O Vill. Ghatashani PO Gumma obstructed them to enter in  the temple and also used caste related derogatory remarks upon them.

CHALLANS

4. 169 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 23700/- was recovered and 12 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 1200/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
