CRIME REPORT 17 JULY

                                               PRESS   RELEASE ON 17 JULY

1         Today Sh. Prem   Kumar  Thakur , IPS,  worthy  Superintendent of Police Mandi    visited the place of incident  occurred  on 20/06/15 at   Salagi IIT  Kamand   North  campus alongwith  Sh.  Rajesh  Kumar , HPS  Dy.SP (HQ)-Cum- SO Police  station Padhar,  SHO  Police  Station Padhar  and  staff of   Police Post  Kamand  in order to   built the  confidence  among  IIT  Authorities.  SP Mandi   also allotted   a Vehicle to  Police  Post  Kamand  to  maintain  law & order &  Peace   in  the  area.  SP  Mandi  also  sought  the  progress  report  of  investigation  of  Kamand incident  cases  and   gave  the necessary  directions to SIT , SO, SHO  and    I/O     for  investigation  of   said  Cases i.e.  FIR Nos. 55/15 & 56/15 of  P.S.  Padhar .   

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2          Case FIR No. 72/15 dated 17/7/15 U/S 279,337, IPC has been registered in  PS BSL Colony Sundernagar  on the complaint of Sh. Joginder Singh S/O Sh. Karam Chand  Vill. Dabrani PO Batarli Tehsil Badsar Distt Hamirpur( HP)  that he is the driver of a Truck (HP-69-2617) and today at about 4:30 AM he parked his truck out side the road  near at tail control Sundernagar in the  mean  time  a Jeep  (PB11BA-7203)  came rashly  from sunder Nagar side and hit   his truck  from  behind  . In this accident two persons sustained  injuries.  HC Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

3          Case FIR NO. 93/15 dated 17/7/15 U/S 283 IPC has been registered in  PS Karsog by HC Bhal Chand I/O PP Pangna PS Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP)that on 16/7/15  he was on patrolling  alongwith other police  officials at  Pangna bazaar  and during  the  course of patrolling  he found that  a heap of  sand  laid on the road  by  Mukesh Kumar S/O Rajender Kumar VPO  Pangna Distt. Mandi (HP) which  was  causing  obstruction  to the general public as well as  traffic . HC Bhal Chand No 542 I/O of  PP Pangna is investigating  the case.

  CASE OF   OBSTRUCTING  WAY  AND  HURT

4        Case FIR No.156/15 dated 17/07/15 U/S 341, 323 IPC   has been registered in P.S.  Sadar on the complaint of  Smt.  Indira Devi W/O Sh. Chandermani  R/O  Marathu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 17/07/15  Atma Ram  resident of  the same locality  obstructed  her way and beat her up.  ASI  Chattar Singh  I.O. of P.S. Sadar  is investigating  the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

5          Case  FIR No. 179/15  dated  17/07/15  U/S 341, 323, 427, 504, 34  IPC has been registered in P.S.   Sarkaghat on the complaint of  Smt.  Meena Kumari W/O Sh. Jeevan Lal  R/O  Dhalwan Tehsil  Baldwara Distt. Mandi (HP)  that  Kalpna Devi  &  Hirdya Ram  obstructed  her  way  and beat her  up and  she   sustained  injuries.  ASI  Thakur   Dass  I.O. of PP  Hatli is investigating the case.

6          154   Challans were issued under  M.V. Act  and fine of Rs.28,500/-  was recovered  and 5  challans were issued under  COTPA  and  fine of Rs. 600/- was during  last 24 hours.
