PAMPHLETS ON WOMEN SAFETY & SECURITY

1. Leaping further towards ensuring  women safety and security, Mandi Police will aware girls and women about their rights/laws  distributed  pamphlets printed for the woman security & help. One page pamphlets on women safety & security shall be distributed in various schools, colleges & panchayats etc.  Sh. Mohit Chawla, IPS, worthy Superintendent of Police, District Mandi (HP), Smt. Jenab Chandel Chairperson H.P. State Commission for Woman,  Himachal Pradesh Shimla, Smt. Shilpi Baekta, AC To DC Mandi, Miss Manjula, DPRO Mandi, Sh. Aakash Sharma, Nominated Councilor M.C. Mandi and Member Consumer Forum Mandi were present on the occasion.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1. Case FIR No. 172/15 dated 09/07/15 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Khem Chand S/O Parkash Chand R/O Darkohli PO Pounta Teshil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that on dated 8/7/15  at about 04:30 PM when he was going by his Motercycle no. HP 28-3304 along with his mother and reached at Bahi, then a Car no. HP31-8053 hit his motercycle and his mother fell down and sustained injuries. ASI Thakur Dass I/O PP Hatli is investigating the case

CASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

1. Case FIR No. 63/15 dated 09/07/2015 U/S 283 IPC has been registered at PS Padhar by HC Roop Lal No. 56 I/O PS Padhar, that he was on patrolling along with other Police officials and during the course of patrolling he found that a Rehari was laid on the road by Nand Lal S/O Sh. Ranjhu Ram R/O Vill. Farha PO Gawali Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi HP  which was causing obstruction to the general public as well as traffic. HC Roop Lal I/O PS Padhar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT, ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

1. Case FIR No. 184/15 dated 09/07/2015 U/S 341,323,504,506,355 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh S/O Sh. Lachhman Ram R/O Trihvi PO Jarol Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 09/07/2015 Kapil Kumar R/O Nehar obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Brij Lal Incharge P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.

 CASE UNDER PREVENTION TO DAMAGE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT

1. Case FIR No. 180/15 dated 09/07/2015 U/S 3 PDP Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Amrit Lal S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Vill. Yanvi PO Dhamrol Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur (HP) at present Assistant Engineer HPSEB Sub Division Bhambla Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 09/07/2015 contractor Vinod Kumar informed him  that residents of Sidhyanai village under the leadership of Sh. Inder Veer,  Pradhan of local  Gram Panchayat stopped the work and they also damaged the pipe line and threw the pipes and approximately cost of property is about Rs. 20,000/-.  HC Malkiat Singh I.O. of P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1. Case FIR No. 179/15 dated 09/07/2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & U/S 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Bhupinder Kumar S/O Sh. Lekh Ram R/O Bhalwani PO Galma Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 19/06/2015 some unknown vehicle hit him and he became unconscious. ASI Sahib Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

1. 347 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 56900/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 26 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 2800/- was recovered  during last 24 hours.
