CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

1. Case FIR No. 333/12 dated 25/12/12 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Lal Man R/O Vill. Banoha  PO Ladda Tehsil Ghumarwin Distt. Bilaspur (HP) that on 24/12/12  Karam Chand S/O Sh. Munshi Ram salesman of wine shop obstructed his way at Matiyara and beat him up. HC Hem Singh I.O. of P.P. Hattli is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 372/12 dated 24/12/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Raj Kumari W/O Sh. Hans Raj R/O VPO Sakroha Tehsil & Distt. Mandi (HP) that Chanderkanta W/O Sh. Pawan Kumar, Dhani Devi and Jagdish Kumar obstructed her way and beat her up. HC Balbir Singh No. 23 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

3.      Case FIR No. 373/12 dated 24/12/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Kanta Devi W/O Sh. Pawan Kumar R/O VPO Sakroha Tehsil & Distt. Mandi (HP) that Raj Kumari W/O Sh. Hans Raj, Krishna Devi W/O Sh. Amar Nath, Gauri Devi W/O Sh. Khem Chand and Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Amar Nath obstructed her way and beat her up.         I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

 

CASE UNDER EXCISE ACT

4. Case FIR No. 374/12 dated 24/12/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. by HC Balbir Singh No. 23 I.O. of P.S. Balh that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Chhakara and during the course of patrolling he carried out search of a vehicle (HP01M-1302) and recovered 9000 ML English Wine from the possession Hans Raj S/O Sh. Mohan Lal driver of above mentioned vehicle. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Balbir Singh No. 23 I.O. of P.S. Balh.

CASE OF DEATH DUE TO HANGING

5.  Ankita D/O Sh. Desh Raj R/O Behna Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) who was residing along with her grandmother at Behna Barla died by hanging with ceiling fan in her house. Postmortem of the dead body was carried out at C.H. Sundernagar and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Sunderangar.

CASE OF DEATH DUE TO HEART ATTACK

6.      Dr. Rattan Lal S/O Late Sh. Sant Ram R/O VPO Sudahan Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) posted as Ayurvedic doctor at Serkothi died today at about 05.15 AM due to heart attack. Postmortem of the dead body was carried out and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Sundernagar.

7. 133 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 14,600/-   was recovered under M.V. Act and 4 challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 500/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
