CASE OF NDPS ACT

1.     Case FIR No. 146/12 dated 22/12/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Gohar that on 22/12/12 at about 5 PM he laid a nakka at Bai Nullah along with other police officials and during the course of nakka he recovered 80 gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Diwan Chand S/O Sh. Door Singh R/O Vill. Chhaprahan Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of  the case is being carried out by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Gohar.

 CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2.     Case FIR No. 145/12 dated 22/12/12 U/S 341,323,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Ranjeet Singh S/O Sh. Dharam Singh VPO Badsu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 22/12/12 at about 06.20 PM Pankaj Kumar @ Panku obstructed his way and attacked upon him with sharp weapon and he sustained injuries. ASI Subhash Singh I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

3.     Case FIR No. 370/12 dated 22/12/12 U/S 279 IPC, 184 & 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ram Pal S/O Sh. Chhotu Ram VPO Ladwa Tehsil Hisar Haryana at present Sai Break Bhata (Break Industry) Distt. Mandi that on 22/12/12 at about 05.30 PM a pick up (HP66-0126) came from Mandi side and hit his horse who died on the spot and driver of above vehicle sped away from the spot.  ASI Mahender Pal I/C traffic wing is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

4.      Case FIR No. 121/12 dated 23/12/12 U/S 341,323,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Shukru Ram S/O Sh. Bhadur Singh R/O Vill. Paplahan PO Chukku Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 21/12/12 at about 6 PM he was going to his home and on the way Churmani S/O Sh. Darshan Ram R/O Vill. Tared (Paplahan) PO Chukku Tehsil Padhar obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Tilak Raj No. 868 I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

5.     Case FIR No. 335/12 dated 23/12/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Lal Singh S/O Sh. Sewak Ram R/O Jabral PO Baloh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that today at about 4 AM Pradhan of Nichla Lot Panchayat informed him telephonically that some things are burning in a nullah. On this he went along with some villagers on the spot and found that copper wires were burning there and recovered 30 KG copper wire from the spot. ASI Amar Nath I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

6.     67 challans were issued and fine of Rs .9100/-   was recovered under M.V. Act and 5  challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 500/- was recovered   during last 24 hours.
