Yesterday afternoon police received an information that a house in Chauntra near Jogindernagar has suspected property and persons. On this information police raided the place and recovered 30 lacs and a case FIR No. 93/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 3 & 7 of Essential Commodities Act, U/S 379,411 IPC, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act and U/S 69,132 Income Tax Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar. During search 8 persons were found working as carpenters and painters in the under construction house. All of them were having Republic of China passport and tourist visa. None of them complied with the section 7 of the Foreigners Act. All 8 were booked and arrested in case FIR No. 94/12 dated 12/06/12 U/S 14 Foreigners Act.
