1. A case FIR No. 96/12 dated 18/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of Sh. Devinder Kumar, Range Forest Officer Forest Range Seri Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mnadi HP that on 16/06/12 at about 7 PM, suddenly fire took place at D-231 Shiladhar which destroyed forest property/produces in the areas of 69.19 hectares having approximately loss of property about Rs. 50,000/-. HC Ashok Kumar No. 885 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

2. Case FIR No. 157/12 dated 18/06/12 U/S 454,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Hans Raj S/O Sh. Inder Singh R/O VPO Kot Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 18/06/12 at about 12.30 PM some unknown culprits stole away jewelry of worth Rs. 1,05,000/- from his house. HC Chaman Lal I.O. of P.P. Hattli is investing the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
3. Case FIR No. 158/12 dated 18/06/12 U/S 341,323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Hem Raj S/O Sh. Rohali Ram R/O Sain Sarohali PO Surajpur Bari Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 18/06/12 he was going to his home and when he reached at Ropari, in the mean time Praveen Kumar, Prem Chand and Ashwani Kumar obstructed his way and beat him up. SI (Prob.) Sanjeev Kumar I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
4. Case FIR No. 53/12 dated 18/06/12 U/S 279,337 IPC and 187 M.V. Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Subhia S/O Sh. Dharam Singh R/O VPO Bhuntar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu that on 18/06/12 he was present at Naresh Chowk and waiting for the bus, in the meantime Tata Sumo (PB01-4446) came from Mandi side towards Bilaspur and struck with a scooty and one person namely Sanjay Rana sustained injuries. HC Chet Ram No. 873 I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT
5. Case FIR No. 149/12 dated 18/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Forest Range Officer Mandi that on 09/06/12 at about 7 PM he was informed by Sh. Shyam Singh S/O Sh. Tulsi Dass R/O Vill. Kathlag that forest areas of Sain Tonadeo Forest was put on fire by some unknown culprits. On this information and said fire was controlled with the assistance of forest officials. AS per report of R.O. Sadar said forest was put on fire by Mahinder Singh S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Kathlag. ASI Amar Nath I.o. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
6. 105 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 23,300/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 9 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 9,00/- was recovered & 4 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
