CRIME REPORT 17 JUNE

CASE OF THEFT AND FOREST ACT

1. Case FIR NO. 72/12 dated 17/06/12 U/S 379 IPC and U/S 41,42 Forest Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Roshan Lal S/O Sh. Prem Singh VPO Mandal Distt. Mandi at present R.O. Nachan that on 16/06/12 at about 11.45 PM he laid a nakka at Naun- Behri road along with other officials of forest department and during the course of nakka a vehicle (HP34A-1021) broke the nakka and fled away from the spot. He chased above vehicle along with other officials and found said vehicle parked on the road side and during the course of checking of vehicle he found 10 logs of cedar (deodar) in side of above vehicle which were taken into possession. HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

2. Case FIR No. 99/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by ASI Subhash Chand I/C PP Bassi that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Basahi and during the course of patrolling he recovered 17,200 ML) country liquor from the possession of Sambhu Ram S/O Sh. Trahdu Ram R/O VPO Chalarag Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Subhash Chand I/C PP Bassi.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT & INTIMIDATION

3. Case FIR No. 152/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Dandu Ram S/O Late Sh. Sartwani R/O Badahi PO Kot Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 his wife Barfi Devi and daughter-in-law obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Baldev Chand I/C PP Hattli is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 153/12 dated 17/06/12 U/S 341,504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Najma Bibi W/O Sh. Bakhtabar Khan R/O Bhadiyar PO Brang Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 at about 10.30 AM Bibi Bano W/O Sh. Sardari Mohammad obstructed his way and beat her up. HC Jagdish Chand I.O. of PP Dharampur is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No. 154/12 dated 17/06/12 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Leela Devi W/O Sh. Prem Chand R/O Dharesa PO Thauna Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 at about 7 PM she was going to her house and when she reached at Dharesa, Promila Devi W/O Sh. Hari Chand obstructed her way and beat her up. HC Amrit Lal I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

ARREST OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE

6. Vipin Kumar S/O Sh. Madan Lal R/O Bholughat PO Bhambla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi, Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Kanshi Ram R/O Ratoli PO Bhambla Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi HP were arrested on 16/06/12 by ASI Ajit Singh I/C PP Hattli who were wanted in case FIR No 137/12 dated 02/06/12 U/S 363,366,376,120B IPC. These both accused are being produced before the Ld Court.

CASE OF RASH & NEGLIGENT ACT

7. Case FIR No. 90/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Block Officer, Forest Block Kotalu Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 15/06/12 fire broke out in the areas of Naganal and Jakhol forest in which about loss of forest produces/property is occurred about Rs. 90,000/-. ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF RASH & NEGLIGENT ACT

8. Case FIR No. 91/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Block Officer, Forest Block Kotalu Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 15/06/12 fire broke out in the areas of Behal forest in which about loss of forest produces/property is occurred about Rs. 55,000/-. HC Ashok Kumar No. 885, I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF RASH & NEGLIGENT ACT

9. Case FIR No. 92/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Block Officer, Forest Block Kotalu Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 fire broke out in the areas of Kandlu forest in which about 700 TAK of Forest Corporation were burnt. ASI Amar Singh I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

10. Case FIR No. 93/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Dola Ram S/O Sh. Het Ram R/O Vill. Kao Tehsil Karsog C/O Telephone Exchange Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 23/05/12 he received a call from Sh. Amar Singh that some unknown culprits stole away telephone wire from Jartolu. On this he visited the spot and found that 500 meters cable and two number telephone poles were stolen away from Jarotalu village. Approximately value of stolen property is Rs.37,000/-. HC Ranjeet Singh No. 74 I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF THEFT

11. Case FIR No. 94/12 dated 17/06/12 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Naval Kishore S/O Sh. Narain Singh R/O Vill. Mandokar PO Kot Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi at present R.M. Telephone Exchange Seribunglow Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 25/05/12 he found telephone cable from Charog to Seri Bungalow was stolen away by some unknown culprits. Approximately value of stolen property is about Rs. 70,000/- HC Ashok Kumar No. 885 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT, OBSTRUCTING WAY, ASSAULT AND INTIMIDATION

12. Case FIR No. 172/12 dated 16/06/12 U/S 323,341,355,504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Harnam Singh S/O Sh. Laxman Dass R/O VPO Bangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 Om Prakash beat him up along with his wife and they both sustained injuries. ASI Shamsher Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

13. Case FIR No. 73/12 dated 17/06/12 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Govind Ram S/O Sh. Anant Ram R/O Vill. Sihan PO Gagal Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that today at about 10 AM he was going to Sundernagar by bus and when he reached at Dadaur, Annu and Nabu beat him up with fist blow and he sustained injuries. HC Ram Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

14. 95 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 22,400/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 15 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1500/- was recovered & 3 challans were issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
