CASE OF HURT
1. Case FIR No. 60/12 dated 19/06/12 U/S 323,325 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Smt. Kaushlya Devi W/O
Sh. Man Singh R/O Mashwahan PO Urla Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that on
18/06/12 at 4 PM her brother-in-law Suresh Kumar beat up her along
with her son Vinod Kumar and they sustained injuries. HC Hari Singh
I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.
CASE OF BURGLARY & THEFT
2. Case FIR No. 159/12 dated 20/06/12 U/S 457,380 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint o Sh. Sunny Kant S/O Sh.
Jai Singh R/O VPO Baroti Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that during the
intervening night of 19-20/06/12 some unknown culprits stole away
jewelry of worth Rs. 2,57,200/- from his house. ASI Naresh Kumar I.O.
of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF UNIDENTIFIED DEAD BODY
3. On 19/06/12 an unidentified dead body of male was found in the rain
shelter at Harabag who was in the age group of 55 to 60 years.
Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of
P.S. Sundernagar.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 15/12 dated 19/06/12 U/S 341.504,506 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Diwan Chand S/O
Late Sh. Bajiru Ram R/O Chambi PO Padhiun Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi
that on 17/06/12 at about 7 PM on the way Lal Singh R/O Narwalo PO
Padhiun along with his wife Hima Devi obstructed his way and beat him
up. HC Shiv Singh No. 894 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating
the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, THEFT AND CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY
5. Case FIR No. 151/12 dated 19/06/12 U/S 342,382,323,120B IPC has
been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Surinder
Kumar S/O Sh. Mani Ram R/O Vill. Sarakan PO Tibbi Tehsil Tibbi Distt.
Hanumangarh Rajasthan who is electrician by profession and he was
called by his elder brother to Manali who is working at Manali and on
17/06/12 he along with Rewat Ram and Rajesh left towards Manai by a
taxi and when they reached at Bhiuli one persons signaled to them for
lift and he told that I am going to Kullu if they accommodate him he
will paid Rs. 300/- . On this they accommodated him in their taxi and
about 2/3 KMs ahead he told them his house is nearby & upper side the
road and he will brought his clothes and on his request they also went
along with him to his house and they all sat inside his house in lower
storey. Some time after three persons came there bolted the door and
started their personal search. Complainant has Rs. 40,000/- in his
pocket which was taken by these three persons and thereafter they
locked them along with taxi upper storey of the said house. Next day
one person namely Rakesh @ Raku demanded Rs. 2 lac from him and when
he refused they all beat him up. On 19/06/12 morning driver of taxi
requested to them to release him and they released him. Thereafter
Rakesh @ Raku gave his account number and told to them to deposit Rs.
10,000/- in his account. On this Rajesh SMS to his home and told to
deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- in the account of Rakesh @ Raku and
after depositing of Rs. 10,000/- in said account they released to
Rajesh Kumar. On 19/06/12 he conveyed the entire episode to his
brother and thereafter they lodged an FIR in P.S. Sadar Mandi. Accused
Ghanshyam S/O Sh. Hirda Ram R/O Vill. Chest PO Muhal Tehsil Sadar
Distt. Kullu (HP), Gumat Ram S/O Sh. Guman Singh R/O Vill. Khalogi PO
Kharihar Tehsil & Distt. Kullu, Angad Ram S/O Sh. Paras Ram R/O Vill.
Dadoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi, Balbir Chand S/O Sh. Ganga Ram R/O
Vill. Pargi PO Galma Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and Tej Singh S/O Sh.
Sant Ram R/O Vill. Samlot PO & Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi were
arrested by ASI Brj Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi in this case and
further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Brij Lal
I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY & HURT
6. Case FIR No. 97/12 dated 20/06/12 U/S 341,323,34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Labh Singh S/O Sh.
Bhag Chand R/O Vill. Shesh PO Pokhi Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on
19/06/12 he was going along with Lobeshwar S/O Sh. Gokal Chand and on
the way Ravinder S/I Sh. Shankar Dass and his brother Moti Ram
obstructed their way and beat up both of them. HC Chhaju Ram is
investigating the case.

CASE OF NON-APPEARANCE IN RESPONSE TO PROCLAMATION
7. Case FIR No. 98/12 dated 20/06/12 U/S 174A IPC has been registered
in P.S. Karsog by HC Ranjeet Singh No. 71 I.O. of P.S. Karsog that
today he went to Kotlu in connection with search of PO and when he
went to the house of P.O. Samoun @ Shami along with ward member Panna
Lal of G.P. Teban and he found P.O. Samoun @ Shami S/O Sh. Roshan
Deen R/O Vill. Kotalu PO Nanj Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) in his
house and he arrested him from his house. HC Ranjeet Singh No. 71 I.O.
of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.
CASE OF RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT
8. Case FIR No. 99/12 dated 20/06/12 U/S 285 IPC has been registered
in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of R.O. Forest Range Seri
Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi that on 16/06/12 some unknown person put on
fire the forest of Sirni and about 16 hectare areas of the forest land
was burnt and approximately lost of Rs. 40,000/- is occurred in this
fire incident. HC Ashok Kumar No. 885 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is
investigating the case.
CASE OF RIOTING & HURT
9. Case FIR No. 175/12 dated 19/06/12 U/S 147,149,323,34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Kumar S/O Sh.
Jagdish R/O Bagha PO Badshu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that he is
studying in 10th class in Sr. Sec. School Bagla and during the half
time Sudhir, Amit, Nabu, Vijay and others beat him up. SI Chhota Ram
I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
10. Case FIR No. 62/12 dated 20/06/12 U/S 341,323,324, 34 IPC has been
registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Akshya Kumar S/O Sh. Sarwan
Kumar R/O Sain PO Surajpurwari Teshil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi that on
19/06/12 he along with his brother were going to Kullu to participate
in the rally of recruitment of Indian Army and when they reached near
Larji Project, two boys obstructed his M/Cycle and they took the
mobile phone of his brother Ashwani Kumar and when he demanded back
his mobile phone they both beat his brother Ashwani Kumar along with
him. HC Prakaram Singh No. 904 I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the
case.

CHALLAN
11. 92 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 17,100/- was recovered
under M.V. Act, 13 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs.
1800/- was recovered & 5 challans were issued under Mining Act during
last 24 hours.
