CRIME REPORT 23 MARCH

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION  

1. Case FIR No. 82/12 dated 23/03/12 341,323/504/34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Pal Singh S/O Sh. Nant Ram R/O Vill. Karsala PO Ratti Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 21/03/12 at about 9 PM he was going to his house, in the mean time Khem Chand and Mintu obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Sarwan Singh No. 20 is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

2. Case FIR No. 27/12 dated 23/03/12 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Smt. Ratki Devi W/O Sh. Chamel Singh R/O VPO Boaching Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that on 22/03/12 she was going Lachkandi from Boaching by a vehicle (HP53-6891) of Tempo Trax  along with Bimla Devi W/O Sh. Bhagat Ram, Kamlesh W/O Sh. Sohan Singh, Shila Devi W/O Sh. Krishan Dev, Nirmla Devi W/O Sh. Fath Singh, Chamari Devi W/O Sh. Chanu Ram R/O VPO Boaching and when said vehicle reached at Balyasain, driver Ragi Ram of said vehicle lost control and rolled down about 300 feet downward due to which Sheela and Kamlesh died on the spot whereas Ragi Ram and Bimla Devi sustained injuries. ASI Roop Singh I.O. of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

CASE OF POISONING

3. Today Sher Singh S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Vill. Tikkar PO Tehsil Sudhar Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi has been consumed some poisonous substance and  died at CHC Padhar. Postmortem of the dead body is carried at CH Jogindernagar and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Padhar.

CASE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT

4. Today Smt. Shakuntla Devi W/O Sh. Lohku Ram R/o Bhubhu Tehsil Padhar  Distt. Mandi reported in this PS that after four year of her marriage, her husband started to harass and torture her and also started pressing very hard  for divorce. In this regard report has been  lodged under Domestic Violence Act which is being sent to CDPO Kunnu for further inquiry.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

5. Case FIR No 65/12 dated 21/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act   has been registered in  PS Sarkaghat by HC Narpat Ram  No 886  I/O  of P.S. Sarkaghat that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Gopalpur and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3750 ML country liquor from the possession of  Kashmir Singh  S/O Sh Basant Singh  R/O VPO Gopalpur Tehsil Sarkaghat. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Narpat Ram No. 886 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat.

 CASE OF EXCISE ACT

6. Case FIR No 46/12 dated 23/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act  has been registered in  PS Jogindernagar by HC Rajesh Kumar No 960  I/O  of P.S. Jogindernagar  that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Ladbharol and during the course of patrolling he recovered  8250 ML country liquor from the possession of  Krishan Chand  S/O Late Sh Kishori Lal  R/O VPO Ladbharol  Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 960 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat.

SPECIAL ENGLISH SPEAKING COURSE 

7.     Two batches of special course on English Speaking were organized w.e.f. 12/03/12 to 16/03/12 & 19/03/12 to 23/03/12 for the police officials of this office through the faculty members of Riches Planet English Academy Mandi in which 30 participants participated in each batch.

CHALLANS

   63 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 6,800/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 19 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1800/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
