CRIME REPORT 22 MARCH

            ARREST IN PREVIOUS CASE

1           1. Accused Chandarmani @ Chandru S/O Sh. Gian Singh VPO Kathog  Tehsil Padhar     Distt Mandi HP has been arrested by ASI Brij Lal I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi  who was wanted  in Case FIR No. 289/11 dated. 06/11/12 U/S. 407 IPC and under police remand up to 25/03/12.

CASE OF HURT AND INTIMIDATION

2.      Case FIR No. 27/12 dated 22/03/12 U/S 325/323/504/34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh S/O Sh. Uttam Chand R/O Puranadhar PO Nagwain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi at present shopkeeper R/O village Takoli that on 14/03/12 he was present in his shop at Takoli, in the meantime Leelamani R/O Rohuru Tehsil Sadar Mandi along with his 2/3 friends came nearby his shop where he was present and beat him up. SI (Prob.) Chand Kishore is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

3.      Case FIR No 27/12 dated 21/03/2012 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar by HC Karan Singh No 24 I/O of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar that he was on patrolling at Upper Behali and during the course of patrolling her recovered 5000 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Smt. Kala Devi W/O Sh. Kartara Ram Vill. Khatarwari PO Upper Behali Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Karn Singh I.O. of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

4.      Case FIR No. 44/12 dated 22/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by ASI Govind Paul I/C P.P. Ladbharol that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Chalthara and during the course of patrolling her recovered 9000 ML country liquor from the possession of Prakash Chand S/O Sh. Damodar Ram R/O Vill. Dhadoun PO Ladbharol Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Govind Paul I/C PP Ladbharol.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

5.      Case FIR No. 64/12 dated 21/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by HC Amrit Lal No. 413 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Janjhail and during the course of patrolling her recovered 2100 ML country liquor from the possession of Smail Mohammad S/O Sh. Saina Ram R/O Vill. Janjhail PO Ropari Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi.  Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Amrit Lal No. 413 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat.

 PREVENTIVE ARREST

6.      Shesh Ram S/O Late Sh. Kanshi Ram R/O Vill. Kafloun PO Gangoti Tehsil Ladbharol Distt. Mandi has been arrested by HC Rajesh Kumar No. 907 I.O. of PP Ladbharol U/S 107/151 Cr.P.C.. Above person was produced before the SDM Jogindernagar and the SDM Jogindernagar bailed him on the bail bond of Rs. 5000/- each.

CASE OF POISONING

7.      Shesh Pal S/O Sh. Dumani Ram R/O Vill. Shalog PO Bassi Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi died due to consuming of some poisonous substance. Postmortem of the dead body has been carried out at Z.H. Mandi and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by the local police of P.S. Gohar.

 CASE OF MISSING

8.      Tek Chand S./O Sh. Billu Ram R/O VPO Gutkar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi reported in P.S. Balh that on 21/03/12 at about 6 AM his sister Ganga Devi went some where with out informing any  body and she didn’t come back so far and also could not traced out any where. Efforts are being made by the local police of police station to trace out above missing Ganga Devi.

CHALLANS

9.      90 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 14,800/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 12 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1200/- was recovered and 2 challans issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
