CRIME REPORT 19 MARCH


CASE OF ABDUCTION AND RAPE                                                                          
  1. Case FIR No. 22/12 dated 19/03/12 U/S 366/376 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint a girl resident of village Fanyar PO Shikawri Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi that on 10/03/12 Devinder Kumar R/O Ruhara C/O Owner of Tara Murari Bus Service kidnapped her on 10/03/12 with out her consent with the intention to marry with her and kept her in his custody w.e.f. 10/03/12 to 12/03/12 and also raped her. ASI Jeet Singh is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT    
  1. Case FIR No. 21/12 dated 19/03/12  U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Kunta Devi D/O Sh. Mani Ram R/O Vill. Ghayash PO Bagsaid Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi that on 18/03/12 Amar Singh S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Vill. Ghayash and his wife Neelma Devi obstructed his way and beat her up. HC Gurdev Singh No. 858 I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT, INTIMIDATION AND RASH & NEGLIGENT ACT
  1. Case FIR No. 59/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 341,323,504,336,34 IPC   has been registered in  P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Promila Devi W/O Beli Ram R/O VPO Sayoh Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi that on dated 18/03/12 at about 4 PM Mohan Lal and his son Balbir Singh obstructed her way and beat her up.  HC Jagdish Chand  I/O of P.P. Dharampur is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
  1. Case FIR No 58/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 279,337 IPC   has been registered in  PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Mast Ram Verma S/O Sh Sant Ram Village Dhanotu PO Mahadev  Tehsil Sundernagar Distt Mandi that on 18/03/12  he along with 8-9 persons were coming from Sundernagar to Naubahi by a vehicle No (HP02M-0173)which was driven by Mast Ram and at about 10.45 AM when said vehicle  reached at Patrighat it met with an accident.  ASI Ajit Singh I/C PP Hatli is investigating the case.
 CASE OF EXCISE ACT
  1. Case FIR No. 75/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by SI (Prob) Vinod Thakur I.O. of P.S. Balh that on 18/03/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Nerchowk and during the course of patrolling he recovered 700 ML English wine from the possession of Suresh Kumar S/O Sh. Nidhi Singh R/O VPO Nerchowk who was selling wine inside his chicken corner shop. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress which is being investigated by SI (Prob) Vinod Thakur I.O. of P.S. Balh.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
  1. Case FIR No. 76/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by HC Ram Lal No. 66 I.O. of P.S. Balh that on 18/03/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Rajgarh and during the course of patrolling he recovered 220 ML country liquor from the possession of Kundan Lal  S/O Sh. Bhagat Ram  R/O VPO Behna  who was selling wine inside his tea stall.  Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress which is being investigated by SI (Prob) Vinod Thakur I.O. of P.S. Balh.
PREVENIVE ARREST
7.      Naveeen Kumar S/O Sh. Mohan Lal R/O Dhadwahan PO Pairi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi has been arrested from Nerchowk on 18/03/12 U/S 107/151 Cr.P.C. by HC Balbir Singh I.O. of P.S. Balh who is being produced before the SDM Sadar Mandi.

 CASE OF POISONING
8.      Dev Raj S/O Sh. Jagat Ram R/O VPO Bhangrotu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi died inside his shop due to poisonous gas of coal. Postmortem of the dead body was carried out which was handed over to the relatives and proceeding U/S 174 Cr. P.C. is being conducted by the local police of P.S. Balh.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
  1. Case FIR No. 62/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI Salim Qureshi I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 18/03/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Duddar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 1 liter illicit liquor  from the possession of Bhup Singh S/O Sh. Dagu Ram R/O VPO Duddar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi.  Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress which is being investigated by SI Salim Qureshi  I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
  1. Case FIR No. 37/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 279/337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Gian Chand S/O Sh. Hari Ram R/O Bhojpur Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 18/03/12 at about 09.30 PM he was standing in front of his shop along with his son Desh Raj at Cinema Chowk Sundernangar, in the mean time a M/Cycle came from Slapper side very rashly and hit am innova car (UP14Y-8037) which was coming from Mandi side. SI (Prob) Sandeep Chaudhary is investigating the case. 

CASE OF CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST AND FORGERY
11.  Case FIR NO. 44/12 DATED 18/3/12 U/S 409, 420 IPC has  been registered in P.S. Karsog on the written complaint of B.D.O Karsog that as per inquiry conducted by his office, Pardhan Gram Panchayat Bhanera Mehar Singh and Panchyat Secretary Gram Panchayat Bhanera  Puran Chand have been misused the Govt. money. During the course of inquiry it was also found that  that they have misused Govt . Money to Rs 5,60,012/- and they have violated MGNREGA Act 2005 by drawing money by self cheques and they have made intentionally cash payments which is not applicable  under  MGNREGA. ASI Sohan Singh is investigating the case.

 CASE OF EXCISE ACT
  1. Case FIR No. 45/12 dated 18/03/12 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog by HC Kamal Kant NO. 860 I.O. of P.S. Karsog that   on 18/03/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Mahashudhar and during the course of patrolling he recovered 3000 ML country  liquor  from the possession of Hira Lal S/O Sh. Naryan Singh R/O Vill. Mahashudhar Tehsil Karsog  Distt. Mandi.  Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on progress which is being investigated by HC Kamal Kant I.O. of P.S. Karsog. 
 . CHALLANS
  1. 50 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 7,600/- was recovered under M.V. Act, 7 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 700/- was recovered and 1 challan issued under Mining Act during last 24 hours.
