OF NDPS ACT
- Case FIR No. 50/12 dated
13/03/12 U/S 20-61-85 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi
by ASI Ram Lal Incharge Police Post Pandoh that today at about 10.30 AM he
laid a nakka along with other police officials at Pandoh and during the
course of checking of a private bus (HP65-2306) which was travelling from
Kullu to Mandi, he recovered 3 KG cannabis (charas) from one
unidentified bag. ASI Ram Lal Incharge Police Post Pandoh is investigating
the case.

OF NDPS ACT
- Case FIR No. 22/12 dated
13/03/12 U/S 18-61-85 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Aut Mandi by
SI (Prob.) Chand Kishor I.O. of P.S. Aut that he was on patrolling along
with other police officials and when he reached at Banala one person was
standing near Hotel Shilbam and on seeing police party he sped away from
the spot. On suspicion he was caught with the help of police party and he
reveled out his name as Hem Singh S/O Sh. Hira Singh R/O village Banal PO
Panarsa Distt. Mandi. During the course of his personal search he
recovered 200 gram opium from his possession. Above accused
Hem Singh has been arrested and further investigation of the case is on
progress which is being investigated by SI (Prob.) Chand Kishor I.O. of
P.S. Aut.
CASE
OF POISONING
- Smt. Krishna Devi W/O Sh.
Roop Lal R/O Vill. Dheluhar PO Dohag Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi
took some poisonous substance and was taken for treatment at CH
Jogindernagar where she died. Postmortem of the dead body was conducted at
C.H. Jogindernagar and proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C. is being carried out by
the local police of police station Jogindernagar.

OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
4. Case FIR No. 23/12 dated 13/03/12 U/S 341/323/34 IPC
has been registered in P.S. Padhar on the complaint of Sh. Narotam Ram S/O Sh.
Sadh Ram R/O Vill. Bahesar PO & Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi that on 12/03/12
Chamaru Ram S/O Sh. Narain Singh, Sadho Devi W/O Sh. Chamaru Ram and Mangal
Singh S/O Sh. Chamaru Ram obstructed his way and beaten him up. SI Rattan Singh
SHO P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.

Tehsil Sandhole Distt. Mandi, Geeta Devi W/O Sh. Ranjha Ram R/O Datwar PO &
Tehsil Sandhole Distt. Mandi, Sharda Devi W/O Sh. Amar Singh R/O Vill. Bajahar
PO Tarpohal Tehsil Sujanpur Distt. Hamirpur have been arrested in case FIR No.
39/12 dated 28/02/12 U/S 498A,504,506 IPC
by ASI Amar Nath Incharge Police Post Sandhole who are being produced
before the court Ld. JMIC Sarkaghat.
CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND AND HUSBAND’S
RELATIVES
6. Case FIR No. 65/12 dated 12/03/12 U/S 498A, 34 IPC
has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Param Dev S/O Sh.
Dhani Ram R/O Oata PO Gutkar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that his daughter Nisha
was married with Hukam Chand S/O Sh. Surat Tam R/O Behna Tehsil Sadar Distt.
Mandi during the year 2007 and said Hukam Chand harassed his daughter and also
demanded dowry such as TV, etc. from his daughter. On 12/03/12 his son informed
him telephonically that Nisha consumed some poisonous substance and she has
been admitted to Z.H. Mandi. He suspects that his daughter has consumed poison
due to harassment by her husband and in-laws. SI Chhotta Ram I.O. of P.S. Balh
is investigating the case.
CASE
OF POISONING
- Smt. Nisha Devi W/O Sh.
Hukam Chand R/O VPO Behna died today at 05.20 AM at Z. H. Mandi due to
consumption of poison. Postmortem of the dead body was carried out and
thereafter dead body was handed over to her relatives. In this connection
a case FIR No. 65/12 dated 12/03/12 U/S 498A, 34 IPC was also registered
in P.S. Balh which is being investigated by SI Chhotta Ram I.O. of P.S.
Balh.
CASE
OF HURT
- Case FIR No. 40/12 dated
12/03/12 U/S 324 IPC has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint
of Tabe Ram S/O Sh. Lachhi Ram R/O Vill. Jinish PO & Tehsil Anni
Distt. Kullu that on 11/03/12 he went along with Himmat Ram to attend a
marriage at Mahog. He was sleeping in a room along with Bir Singh and
Kalmu. On 12/03/12 at about 1.30 AM one Baldev came in the room and hit on his head
with a bottle and sustained injury. HC Ashok Kumar I.O. of P.S. Karsog is
investigating the case.

challans were issued and fine of Rs. 9,850/- was recovered under M.V. Act
during the last 24 hours. 14 Challans were issued under COTPA and
fine of Rs. 1400/- was recovered.
