CITIZEN CENTRIC INTIATIVE "OPERATION MUKTI"  

1. Operation Mukti is a citizen centric initiative by Mandi Police which involving all segments of society in fight against Drugs/contrabands and other illicit products.

    

• To seek co-operation from community in detection of drugs etc.

• To check, control, detect and investigate the cases in highly professional manner.

• To involve society i.e. Education Institutes, Mahila Sangathna, Mandals, NGOs, Panchayats in educating the youth.

• To device plan wise mechanism to control the production, supply, and transmission of contrabands/drugs at Micro & Macro levels.

   

CASE OF  OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND   CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2. Case FIR No. 291/14 dated 21/11/14 U/S 341, 323, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar  on the  complaint of Sh. Lekh Ram  S/O Sh. Seru Ram  R/O  Pandrah P.O. Nalag Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 07/11/14 Hem Raj &  Maya Devi obstructed  his way and    beat him up and also threatened   him  with dire consequence.  HC  Prabhakar Ram  No. 872  I.O. of PP Dehar is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

2. Case  FIR No. 404/14 dated 21/11/14 U/S  341, 323,504 IPC has been  registered in  P.S.  Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Rajinder Singh  S/O Sh. Tek Chand R/O  Nagani PO  Triphalghat Tehsil Baldwara Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 21/11/14 Sarwan Kumar  obstructed  his way and beat him up.  ASI   Thakur Dass I.O. of PP Hatli  is investigating  the case

CASE OF  EXCISE ACT

3. Case FIR No. 403/14 dated 21/11/14  U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat  by  ASI  Desh Raj  I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat  that he was on patrolling  alongwith  other police officials at  Mandap  and  during  the course of patrolling he recovered  9000 ML  Country Liquor from  which was left out in public place  by some unknown  persons at Mandap.  ASI  Desh Raj  I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.    

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4. Case FIR No. 195/14  dated 21/11/14 U/S  279,337 IPC & 187 MV  Act  has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of  Smt. Kamla Devi  W/O Sh. Pyar Chand  R/O Sukka- Bag  P.O. Chauntra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP that she was going to  her home and when she reached neat Sukka- Bag, in the mean time  Vehcile(HP01M-0704) which was driven by  Bablu  S/O Sh. Pyar  Chand   resident of the same  locality   came rashly and hit  her  and she  sustained injuries.  ASI  Thakru Ram  I/C of PP  Ghatta   is investigating the case.

CASE OF  NDPS ACT

5. Case FIR No. 275/14 dated 21/11/14  U/S  21 of  NDPS Act has been  registered in P.S.  Sadar  by  SI  Sandeep  Sharma I/C of PP City that  on  21/11/14   he was  on patrolling alongwith other police officials at  Sai  Sweet  Shop  and  during the course of  patrolling he recovered  20  Gram  Amphetamine(Psychotropic Drug)   from the possession of  Sh.  Tushar Dixit  S/O Sh. Deepak Dixit  R/O  House  No. 21  Ward No. 6  Samkehter Mohalla  Mandi (HP) .  SI Sandeep  Sharma  I/C  of PP  City is investigating the case.

CASE OF  ROAD ACCIDENT

 

6. Case FIR No. 366/14 dated 21/11/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Balh on the complaint of Sh. Prem Singh  S/O Sh. Amar Singh  R/O  Gora Gaggal Tehsil Balh  Distt. Mandi (HP) that  on 21/11/14  he was  going to  Nerchowk by  a vehicle  and  when he  reached near Tehsil office  Nerchowk , in the mean time Motor Cycle( HP33B-7732)  came  rashly and hit another  Motor Cycle(HP33B-7732)  and three person  sustained injuries  in this mishap.  SI  Munish Raj (Prob)  I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

7.  381Challans were issued under  M.V. Act  and fine of Rs.56900/-  was recovered  and 16  challans were issued under  COTPA  and  fine of Rs. 1600/- was  recovered  during  last 24 hours.
