INCIDENT OF DROWNING
1. Today at about 3.50 PM Sh. Sher Singh R/O Sakor informed telephonically to P.S. Sadar Mandi that persons are drowned in Beas River at Sukkibain.
On receiving this information a team of the local police rushed to the spot immediately to rescue the both drown persons. Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, S.P. Mandi Sh. Kuldeep Chand Rana, Addl. Superintendent of Police, District Mandi visited the spot and supervising the entire ongoing rescue operation along with rescue team to save the both drowned persons.

2. Case FIR No.234/15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 451, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Simro Devi W/O Sh. Balbir Singh R/O Tikkari PO Smaila Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP). That on 15/09/15 she was working in her home, in the mean time Sunita Devi , Ashwani Kumar, Balbir Singh , Kamla Devi entered in her courtyard and beat her up and also threaten her with dire consequences. ASI Chiranji Lal I/C of PP Hatli is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION, WORDS TO INSULT THE MODESTY OF LADY
3. Case FIR No. 136/15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 506, 509 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of a girl resident of R/O Naugrawan PO Chailchowk Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) that Kailash Thakur S/O Sh. Chand R/O Bhagyar PO Chailchowk Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi(HP) threatened her and used obscene language to insult her modesty . ASI Ashok Kumar I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

4. Case FIR No. 137/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Tule Ram S/O Sh. Khime Ram R/O Bharechi PO Kalhani Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 16/09/15 Om Chand , Yudhveer Singh & Chet Ram resident of same locality obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Birbal Singh No. 72 I.O. of P.P. Janjehli is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No. 242/15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O Hawani PO Thauna Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 16/09/15 he was going along with Rajender Kumar by his scooter (HP28-8897) and when they reached near Bhadayal said scooter skidded due to rash and negligent riding by Rajender Kumar and both sustained injuries. HC Rajesh Kumar No. 64 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

6. Case FIR No. 243/15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Jhabe Ram S/O Sh. Charan Dass R/O Plash PO Gohar Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 16/09/15 he was going by his Motor Cycle(HP32B-2343) and when he reached near Kansa Chowk, in the mean time a Car (HP33D-2391) came rashly from opposite side and hit his Motor Cycle and he sustained injuries. 7. Case FIR No. 214 /15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar by ASI Hem Raj I.O. of P.S. Sadar that on 16/09/15 he laid a nakka alongwith other police officials at Bindravani and during the course of checking of vehicles he recovered 1 Kg 15 Grams Charas ( Cannabis) from the possession of Firoj Nabaj S/O Sh. Fakrul Islam R/O Pav Dhani Ram Pathar PO Hojai Distt. Navgoan (Assam) who was standing there. Accused has been arrested and further investigating is being carried out by ASI Hem Raj I.O. of P.S. Sadar Distt. Mandi.

8. Case FIR No. 215/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 448, 427, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Smt. Kusma Devi D/O Late. Sh. Kiran Chand Sharma R/O House No. 19/11 Thnehra Muhalla Mandi (HP) that she is residing in the rented house of Smt. Sukhdai. Today Sukhdai's son came alongwith 3-4 persons and entered in her room and they threw away her house hold articles from the room. Karsog by HC Vijay Kumar No. 411 that That he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials and during the course of patrolling he found that a heap of sand was laid on the road side by Ranvir Singh S/O Sh. Kashmir Singh R/O Sanrali PO Bhanthal Tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi (HP) which was causing obstruction to the general public and traffic. HC Vijay Kumar No. 411 I.O. of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.

12. Case FIR No. 235/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Suraj Naik S/O Sh. Surat Naik R/O Bhour PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 17/09/15 a Car ( HP34A-8251) came rashly rahly from Sundernagar side rashly and hit a Electricity Pole . HC Tek Chand No. 03 I.O. of P.S Sundernagar is investigating the case.

13. Case FIR No. 104/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Manish Kumar S/O Sh. Tara Chand R/O Jhir Khud PO Paprola Tehsil Baijnath Distt. Kangra(HP) that on 16/09/15 he alongwith Vivek Kumar were coming from Manali by Hariyana Roadways Bus and when they reached near Banala and said bus stopped for dinner, in the mean time a Bolero Jeep came rashly from Kullu side and hit the Vivek Kumar and he sustained injuries. ASI Hari Singh I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT AND OFFENCES AGAINST PUBLIC SERVANT
14. Case FIR No. 144/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 279, 353, 332, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Ganesh Chand S/O Sh. Narayan Singh R/O Jhanad PO Kufri Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (HP) that he is posted as driver in HRTC Depot Baijnath. Today he was on the way with HRTC bus (HP53- 6379 ) which was bounded from Kufri to Jogindernagar and when said bus reached near Shanan, in the mean time a Vehicle ( HP53A-3868) came rashly and hit his said bus from back side. Vinit Minhas, Dhrub Minhas & two unknown person beat him up and he sustained injuries. ASI Sukesh Kumar I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
15. Case FIR No. 142/15 dated 16/09/15 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by ASI Tarsem Singh I/C P.P. Ghatta that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 12 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Rajender Singh S/O Sh. Bhudhi Singh R/O Sangnehar PO Chountra Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Tarsem Singh I/C of PP Ghatta is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
16. Case FIR No. 143/15 dated 17/09/15 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S Jogindernagar by ASI Desh Raj I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar that he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Balohal and during the course of patrolling he recovered 60 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Gian Chand S/O Sh. Hari Dutt. R/O Balohal PO Sanithal Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) . ASI Desh Raj I/O of P.S. Jogindernagar is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
17. 219 Challans were issued under MV Act and fine of Rs.30,600 /- was recovered and 17 Challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1700 /- was recovered during last 24 hours.
