CRIME REPORT ON 24 MAR

FORMAL INSPECTION OF S.P. OFFICE & P.L. MANDI

1. Today Sh. P.L. Thakur, IPS, worthy Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi carried out formal inspection office of the Superintendent of Police, Mandi (HP) and Police Lines Mandi. On the occasion of said inspection a Sampark Samelan/Darwar was also organized at P.L. Mandi in which about 120 police  officers/officials of  Mandi Police  participated. 

  CASE OF  KIDNAPPING

2. Case FIR No. 40/15  dated 24/03/15  U/S 363, 366 IPC  has been registered in P.S.  Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Sohan Lal  S/O Sh. Rulia Ram R/O  Kaflu PO Chail Chowk Tehsil  Chachiot  Distt. Mandi (HP) that  his  daughter is missing since  23/03/15  and he suspect  that  Sagar S/O Sh. Dayal  Singh  R/O  Ropa PO  Behna  Tehsil    Balh Distt. Mandi  kidnapped his daughter .  SI   Lal Singh   I.O. of P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF  FOREST ACT

3. Case FIR No. 39/15 dated 23/03/15  U/S 379 IPC & U/S 41, 42 of Indian Forest  Act  has been registered in P.S.  Gohar by  SI  Lal  Singh   SHO of P.S.  Gohar  that on 23/03/15  he laid a nakka   alongwith other police  officials at  Katlog   and during the course of checking of   Van(HP01K-0796)  he recovered  4 Logs of  Deodar from the possession of  Krishan  Kumar  S/O Sh. Tiblu  Ram  R/O  Kushala PO  Badhu Tehsil Chachiot  Distt. Mandi (HP).  Accused has been  arrested and further investigating is being carried out by  SI  Lal  Singh   SHO of P.S. Gohar.

CASE OF  NDPS ACT

4. Case FIR No.93/15  dated 23/03/15  U/S  15 of  NDPS  Act has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar by   ASI  Brij Lal I/C of PP Slapper that  on 23/03/15   he was on patrolling  at  Bhawana and during the course of patrolling he recovered  338  Gram  Poppy  Straw from the possession of  Sukhdev  S/O Sh. Jaspal Singh   R/O  Dehadu Tehsil Khanna Distt. Ludhiyana ( PB) .  ASI  Brij  Lal  I/C  of PP  Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF  ROAD  ACCIDENT

5. Case FIR No. 26/15  dated 24/03/15  U/S  279 IPC  &  U/S  187   MV Act  has been registered in  P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar  on the complaint of Sh. Nanak Chand  S/O Sh. Krishan Dass  R/O  Naulakha PO  Kanaid  Tehsil Sundernagar  Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 23/03/15  he  parked  his  car at Naulakha , in the mean  a Truck ( HP69A-1872)  which  was  driven by  Hem  Raj  S/O Sh. Devi  Dass  R/O  Jhanduta   Distt  Bilaspur came rashly and hit his above  car. HC  Ravinder  Singh  No. 863  I.O.   of P.S.  BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.   

CASE OF ROAD   ACCIDENT

6. Case  FIR No. 34/15  dated 23/03/15  U/S  279 IPC has been  registered in P.S.  Aut  on the complaint of Sh. Nitin Kumar  S/O  Late. Sh. Narender  Kumar  R/O  Bodan  PO  Jawalamukhi  Distt. Kangra  (HP)   at present  working as a conductor  with  Private Bus  (HP68-9585)  that on 23/03/15  he  was on route  Kangra  to Manali  alongwith   said  Bus  and when they reached  Aut  Tunnel , in the mean time   a  Xylo Car (DL3CAY-9445)  which was driven by  Mukesh  S/O Sh. Durga Prasad R/O  Nabha Housing  Complex  came rashly  from  Kullu side  and hit  said Bus .  ASI  Rajesh Kumar  I.O. of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

7. 195 Challans  was issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs. 30,300 /-  was  recovered  and 3  challans  was issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 400/-  was recovered  during last 24 hours.
