TO HONOUR & RESPECT THE INDIAN NATIONAL FLAG

1. As we know that the National Flag represents hopes and aspirants of the our country and hence should occupy a position of honour.

On important events, the National Flag made of plastic are being used in place of paper flags. Since, plastic flags are not biodegradable like paper flags, these do not get decomposed for a long time and are harmful to the atmosphere. General masses are requested to ensure that on important national, cultural and sports events Flags made of paper only are used by public in terms of the provisions of the Flag Code of India and such paper Flags are not discarded or thrown on the ground after the event. Such Flags are to be disposed off in private consistent with the dignity of the Flag.

 It may also be noted that as per Section 2 of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971-Whoever in any public place on in any other place within public view burns, mutilates, defaces, defiles, disfigures, destroys, tramples upon or otherwise shows disrespect to or brings into contempt (whether by words, either spoken or written or by acts) the Indian National Flag or any part thereof , shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.

ARREST OF PROCLAIMED OFFENDER

2. Const. Ramji Dass No. 366 and Const. Krishan Chand No. 199 of P.S. Balh succeeded to nab Padam Dev S/O Sh. Balak Ram R/O VPO Baggi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) who was   declared proclaimed offender on 22/02/2014 by the Ld. Special Judicial Magistrate, Mandi (HP).

3. Case FIR No.63/15 dated 19/03/15  U/S 451, 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC has been  registered in P.S. Sadar on the  complaint of Sh. Jitender Kumar  S/O Sh. Gopal Singh  R/O Nalson PO Saigalu Tehsil  Kotli  Distt. Mandi (HP)  that on 18/03/15  Pinku S/O Sh. Punnu Ram  &  Preetu S/O Sh. Roshan Lal resident of same locality entered in the courtyard of  his   home and beat him up and  also   threatened him with  dire consequences.  ASI  Satpal  I/C of  PP Kotli is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND   CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

4.      Case FIR No. 64/15  dated 19/03/15  U/S 451, 323, 504, 506 , 34 IPC has been registered in P.S.   Sadar on the complaint of Sh. Mehar Singh  S/O Sh. Kanshi Ram R/O  Ropru PO Nasloh Tehsil  Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 17/03/15  he alongwith  Rama Devi were  going to  their home , in the mean time  Sher Singh , Bir Singh  &  Govind  obstructed  their  way  and beaten them  and  also  threatened  them with dire consequences .  ASI  Hem Raj   I.O. of  P.S. Sadar  Mandi is investigating the case.

5.      Case FIR No.87/15 dated 18/03/15  U/S 341, 323, 504  IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Pankaj Kumar  S/O Sh. Jeet Ram R/O  Chanol PO  Talai Tehsil Sunderngar Distt. Mandi (HP)   that on 17/03/15  Dev Raj   obstructed  his  way and beat him up. HC  Leela Dhar  No. 913 I.O. of PP  Dehar is investigating  the case.

6.      Case FIR No.89/15 dated 19/03/15  U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S.  Sundernagar on the  complaint of Sh. Ajay Kumar  S/O Sh. M.L. Gupta R/O Near Vision  School  Sundernagar  Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/03/15  Rawat  obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries.  ASI  Khalil Ahmed  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF   EXCISE ACT

7.      Case FIR No.88/15 dated 18/03/15  U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by  ASI  Ram Lal  I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that  he was on patrolling alongwith other police  officials at  Halel and   during  the course of patrolling he recovered  5  Ltrs. Illicit Liquor from the possession of  Meera Devi  W/O Sh. Ghanu Ram  R/O  Halel PO Kanaid Tehsil Sundernagar   Distt.Mandi.  ASI Ram Lal  I.O. of P.S. Sunderngar is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL  TRESPASS,  MISCHIEF AND  CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

8.      Case FIR No.25/15 dated 18/03/15  U/S 447, 323,427,504, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony   Sundernagar on the   complaint of Smt. Vidya Devi  W/O Sh. Rishi Dutt R/O  Dhanotu PO  Mahadev  Tehsil Sundernagar  Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 18/03/15   Kunta Devi  came alongwith Bhawna  & Ram Dulari, entered in the courtyard of  her land  and beat her  up and  also  broke  her  mobile phone  and  threatened   her  with dire consequences  . HC Sanjeev Kumar No.  879  I.O. of PS BSL Colony  Sundernagar  is investigating the case. 

CHALLAN

9.  Challans  was issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of Rs.16,800 /- was  recovered  and 13 challans  was issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 1300/-  was recovered during last 24 hours.
