DECLAMATION CONTEST

1.      Today a declamation contest was organized on the topic of "Think Health Not Drugs" in P.L. Mandi. In this competition 16 students of various institutions participated. Monila of Govt. College Mandi  secured 1^st  position, Minakshi of DAV (C.P.S.) Khaliyar secured 2^nd position and  Shaurya of K.V. Mandi  secured 3^rd position and they were rewarded with  cash  prize  of  Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 800/- & Rs. 500/- respectively by Sh. P.L. Thakur, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Mandi (HP) who was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

CASE OF NDPS ACT

2. Case FIR No. 143/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 20,29 NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by SI (Prob.) Hans Raj I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 29/06/13 he laid a nakka at Pungh along with other police officials and during the course of nakka they carried out search  of a Scorpio (HR70A-7630) and recovered 3.760 KG cannabis (charas) from the possession of Anil Kumar S/O Sh. Vijender Singh R/O 64 Jhugiya NIC MM Chandigarh and Anuj S/O Sh. Balinder Singh R/O VPO Khadri PS Budia Distt. Yamunanagar (Haryana). SI (Prob.) Hans Raj is investigating the case.

CASE OF PREVENTION OF DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT

3. Case FIR No. 94/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar on the written complaint of Sh. Ramjeet Singh S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Vill. Gullana PO Tullah Tehsil Ladbharol Distt. Mandi (HP) at present Pradhan of G.P. Tullah that 4 Nos. toilets  and 2 Nos. bath rooms were constructed during the year 2009-2010 in Ton Bhareri Temple from the govt. funds. On 05/06/13 he visited the spot and found that these toilets and bathroom were demolished completely by Baba Ram Kumar Dass without taking prior permission from the competent authority. HC Mangat Ram No. 898 I.O. of P.P. Ladbharol is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

4. Case FIR No. 150/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 341,323,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Ram Singh S/O Sh. Budhu Ram R/O Vill. Tillu PO Brikhmani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) on 28/06/13 Suresh Kumar obstructed his way and beat him up.

5. Case FIR No. 151/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 341,323 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Hem Singh S/O Sh. Budhu Ram R/O Vill. Tillu PO Brikhmani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that today he was going to Nalsar and on the way Suresh Kumar obstructed his way and beat him up. SI Ranjan Sharma I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.

6. Case FIR No. 152/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Puspa Devi W/O Sh. Mast Ram R/O Sandehara PO Sidhyani Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 29/06/13 Chhavi Ram and his wife Savitri Devi obstructed her way and beat her up. ASI Sushil Kumar Incharge Police Post Rewalsar is investigating the case.

CASE OF NON-ATTENDANCE IN OBEDIENCE TO AN ORDER FROM PUBLIC SERVANT

7. Case FIR No. 51/13 dated 29/06/13 U/S 174A IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut by HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 69 that on the basis of secret information he along with members of his team succeeded to nab Virender Thakur S/O Sh. Biri Singh R/O Vill. Khansar PO Gondhla Tehsil Keylong Distt. L&S who was wanted in case FIR No. 100/04 dated 07/08/2004 U/S 279,337,338,304A IPC and declared PO by the Ld. CJM Mandi on 04/06/2010. HC Sanjeev Kumar Incharge PO Cell P.S. Aut is investigating the case.

8. 84 challans were issued and fine of Rs.16700/-   was recovered under M.V. Act  during last 24 hours.
