 CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT AND  DEATH   DUE TO RASH AND NEGLIGENT ACT

1          Case FIR No. 76/16 dated 04/07/16 U/S  279, 337 , 304(A)   IPC has been  registered in  P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Chunni  Lal S/O Sh.  Rot  Ram  R/O   Bouns PO  Deori Tehsil  Sadar District  Mandi (HP) that on 03/07/16 he along with his mother Smt. Meera Devi, brother Sh. Tilak Raj, sister Smt. Chetna, brother-in-law Sh. Monu, Aunty Smt. Mamita, Sister Divya and niece about aged  two months old were coming back from Manikaran and at about 9 PM when they reached near Banala, a car (HP49A-1187) came from Mandi side towards Kullu very rashly and negligently and hit their nano car and their car fell down in Beas River due to which 8 occupants of said car drowned in the Beas river. On receiving information local police of the Police Station rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation immediately. Sh.  Arjit  Sen  Thakur , IPS , Asstt. Superintendent of Police District Mandi (HP)  also visited the spot and supervised the rescue operation. Above mentioned complainant Sh. Chuni Lal has been rescued by the rescue team and other  person washed away in Beas river.    During  rescue operation  one dead body  has been recovered by rescue team and identified as Mamita devi D/O Sh. Charan Singh R/O Village Daran PO Nandi Tehsil Chachiot Distt. Mandi (HP) aged 25 years old.  HC Anil Kumar No.   is investigating the case.

  CASE OF  OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT , ASSAULT  AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

2          Case FIR No. 201/16 dated  03/07/16 U/S  341, 323, 356, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on  the complaint of  Sh. Suresh  Kumar S/O Sh. Braham  Dass  R/O  Gdyani PO  Rakhoh Tehsil  Sarkaghat District Mandi (HP) that on  28/06/16   he  was  coming  to home  , in the mean time  Gian Chand   &  Sanjeev Kumar   came there and  obstructed his way and beat him up  and  he sustained  injuries.  ASI  Naresh I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING  WAY, HURT AND  CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

3          Case FIR No. 203/16 dated  04/07/16 U/S  341,  323, 427, 504, 506, 34  IPC has been  registered in P.S.   Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh  Kumar S/O Sh.  Mausa Ram  R/O  Kangheter PO  Surajpurbari   Tehsil  Sarkaghat  District   Mandi (HP) that on 03/07/16   he was  going to  Barchhawar alongwith  his  mother  and when they  reached    near Surajpurbari , in  the mean time  Rajesh  Kumar  came  along with  his wife, obstructed  their  way and beat  them up . ASI  Thakur Dass  I.O. of  P.S.  Sarkaghat  is investigating the case.

CASE  OF EXCISE ACT

4          Case FIR No. 202/16 dated 04/07/16 U/S  39 of HP Excise Act has been registered in P.S.  Sarkagha  by  SI Ashwani Kumar  I/C of PP Hatli that he was on patrolling  alongwith other police officials  and  during the course of checking of   Car (HP74-6000)  he  recovered  108 Bottles of  English Wine  from the  possession of  Raj Kumar  S/O Sh. Sohan Lal  R/O  Nagrota PO  Baldwara Tehsil   Baldwara District  Mandi (HP). SI   Ashwani  Kumar I/C of PP Hatli is investigating the case.

CASE OF  ROAD ACCIDENT

5          Case FIR No. 177/16 dated  04/07/16  U/S 279, 337  IPC has been registered in  P.S.  Sadar on the   complaint of  Sh. Satish  Kaushal S/O  Late. Sh. Gauri Kaushal R/O  Mahajan Bazzar District Mandi (HP) that on today he was  going to  petrol pump at Sauli Khad by his  Scooter(HP33A-0217)  , in the mean time a Jeep (PB04N-9917)  came   rashly  and negligently  and hit  his said  Scooter and   he sustained  injuries.  HC Kamal Guleria I.O. of P.S. Sadar  is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

1.  177   Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs.20,700/- was recovered and 36  Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 3600/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
