CRIME REPORT 06 OCT

MONTHLY   JOINT CONSULTANCY COMMITTEE-CUM-WELFARE AND CRIME MEETING HELD ON 06/10/2016

 

1.      Today  Monthly  joint  Consultancy Committee-cum- Crime  Meeting  of District Police   Mandi   held   under the  chairmanship of  Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS  Superintendent of Police, District   Mandi  (HP)  in Kamaksha  hall at Police Lines, Mandi   in which  all the  gazetted  officers of Mandi Police i.e.   Sh. Kulbhushan Verma, HPS Addl. S.P. Mandi, Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal, HPS  Dy.Supdt. of Police, (Hqrs.) Mandi, Sh. Sanjeev Bhatia,HPS SDPO Sundernagar and  Sh. Madan Dhiman, HPS SDPO Sarkaghat, all SHOs of Mandi District, District Inspector (Traffic) Mandi, Incharge Traffic Mandi,  all Incharges of Police Posts of Mandi Distict and  about 88 police  officials  of  Mandi Police  participated.

First of all during the Joint Consultancy-cum-Welfare Meeting, the Superintendent of  Police, Mandi  (HP)  redressed  the  all  welfare issues of  police personnel which were pertaining with  district  level whereas issues are pertaining with higher authorities for their redressal are being sent to the  concerned authorities to redress these issues accordingly.

All SHOs, I/C PPs and all police officials of Mandi Police were directed to  improve prevention & detection work, to take concrete steps to reduce/decrease road accidents in their respective jurisdiction and they were also directed to behave politely & gently with general public while on duty.  

The chairman also  congratulated the Mandi Police for discharging  the law & order duty calmly, effectively and efficiently specially during VIP visits in this district and also congratulated teams of Mandi Police for nabbing  thieves who were  involved in major theft cases in this district and recover the case properties as well as to recover the missing children from various location during recent past and he also directed to keep up the spirit.

Necessary directions were also issued by the Chairman during said meeting  to S.Os. all SHOs & I/C P.Ps. to decrease numbers of missing persons, to  apprehend proclaimed offenders  and to reduce the cases pending for investigation with priority.  He  also directed  all  SOs, SHOs and Incharges of Police Posts of this district that  sincere  efforts  are to be  taken   to deal with  all the cases  of missing/ abduction of children.

He also conveyed that overall situation and Law & Order situation remained peace-full in this district. All concerned are also directed strictly to maintain the law & order properly & effectively.  Necessary directions were also issued to the all concerned to remain vigilant and intensify the patrolling in their respective jurisdiction in view of ongoing festive season.

In view of forthcoming probably visit of hon'ble Prime Minister of India in this district, necessary directions have also been given to the all Supervisory Officers, SHOs & I/C Police Posts to develop the ground level intelligence and monitor the activities of suspicious elements & their associates. All S.Os., SHOs & I/C P.Ps. were also directed to maintain sharp vigil, to check the hotels, sarains, dbhabas & intensify/improve the checking on barriers/border areas of this district. They were also directed to laid the special nakkas during  night hours and check the all vehicles thoroughly. 

The Superintendent of Police, Mandi also directed that in view of recent terror attacks all are to be remained alert and vigilant in view to avoid any untoward incident in this district. Special attention is to be given to vital installation and crowded areas.   

Special campaign against drug menace/drug peddlers to be continued and constant efforts are to be made to nab the kingpins/main suppliers of drugs in view to save the young generation from the menace of drugs. All SHOs & I/C PPs were also directed to enhance the detection work under NDPS Act, Mining Act & Excise Act.

During the course of Crime Meeting all cases which are pending for investigation more than three months, more than six months and more than one year are discussed comprehensively and necessary directions and guidelines are issued to all individuals to complete the investigation of these cases with utmost priority and put the challans in the courts immediately.

Necessary directions were also given by the Superintendent of Police, District Mandi during said meeting to maintain the records in CCTNS CAS project properly in its all modules.

  

WORKSHOP ON "ONLINE IMMIGRATION, VISA, FOREIGNER & TRACKING MODULE"

2.      Today a workshop organized by Mandi Police  under the chairmanship of Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal, HPS, Dy.S.P.(Hqrs) Mandi on "Online IVFRT Module" in the conference hall of Mini Secretariat building Mandi  for the owners of hotels/guest houses of district Mandi through NIC Mandi that how to create user IDs & fill-up the "C" form online in which about 40 owners of hotels/ guest houses participated.  

CASE OF ND&PS ACT.

3.    Case FIR No. 252/16 dated 05/10/16 U/S 20-61-85 of ND&PS Act has been registered in PS Sadar Mandi by SI Kuldeep Chand I/O PS Sadar Mandi that he laid Naka alongwith other police official at Sukki Bain NH-21. During the course of Nakabandi he recovered 701 Gram cannabis(charas) from the possession of Rakesh Kumar S/O Munni Lal Sharma, R/O Muhalla Krishana Nagar Camp PO Dinanagar, Tehsil & District Gurdaspur Punjab who was travelling by a Bus (HP65B-4444) which was on its way from Kullu to Mandi. Accused has been arrested and investigation is being by SI Kuldeep Chand I/O PS Sadar Mandi.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDEN.

4.   Case FIR NO 141/16 dated 5/10/16 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered in PS Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Virender Kumar S/O Naranjan Dass, R/O VPO Kao, Tehsil Karsog, District Mandi HP that on 5/10/16 he alongwith Veena Dogra, Tanuja and Damani were going to his home Kao from Karsog by  his car (62A-1683) and reached near Mamail in the mean time one A/F car came from Mamail side very rash & Negligently which was driven by Bhanish Kumar S/O Ghanshyam R/O Kayargi PO Karsog Tehsil Karsog District Mandi HP, hit his car and ran away from the spot, due to which he sustained injuries. ASI Jhabe Ram I/O PS Karsog is investigating this case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND INTIMIDATION.

5.   Case FIR No. 277/16 U/S 341, 451, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Bidhi Chand S/O Sh. Fannu Ram R/O Village Kufri, PO Kuddi Khahan, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi HP that on 05.09.2016 he reached his home,  in the mean time his nephew namely Jai Chand obstructed his way and beat him up. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I/O PS Sarkaghat is investigation this case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

6.   Case FIR No. 279/16 dated 05.10.2016 U/S 451, 323, 504 IPC has been registered in PS Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Rattan Chand S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Village Latehra, PO Cholthra, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi HP that on 05.10.2016 he was present his shop in the mean time Gourav Kumar S/O Sh. Kamleshwar entered his shop and beat him up due to which he sustained injuries. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I/O PS Sarkaghat is investigation this case.  

CASE OF EXCISE ACT.

7.    Case FIR No. 278/16 dated 05.10.2016 U/S 39 of Himachal Pradesh Excise Act has been registered in PS Sarkaghat by SI Karanjeet Singh I/O of PS Sarkaghat that on 05.10.2016 he was on patrolling alongwith other police official at place Dangoie Nala near Sarkaghat. During the course of patrolling he recovered   12 bottles of country liquor   form the possession of Balam Ram S/O Sh. Ruaalu Ram, R/O Village Simbal Kothi, PO Ropari, Tehsil and PS Sarkaghat, District Mandi HP. SI Karanjeet Singh I/O PS Sarkaghat is investigating this case.

CHALLANS.

8.   240 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs.  28,900 - was recovered and 23 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 3700/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
