CRIME REPORT ON 24 JUNE

PAINTING COMPETITION

1.      Today Mandi Police organized painting competition among the students of various schools on the topic "Let us run for a Drug  Free Himachal Pradesh" on the eve of observance of 26^th June as "International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking". Following students are declared 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd respectively:-

(1)    Students studying between  5^th to 8^th class

1.      Master Bhuvan, DAV Sr. Sec. School near Victoria Bridge secured 1^st position  and awarded with cash  reward of Rs. 500/-

2.      Master Rohan,  DAV Sr. Sec, School Victoria Bridge Mandi  secured 2^nd position and awarded with cash reward of Rs. 300/-

3.      Master Ashish Mahli, GSSS (Boys) Mandi secured 3^rd position and awarded with cash  reward of Rs. 200/-

(2)    Students studying between 9^th to 12^th class

1.      Miss Upasna, JNV Pandoh secured 1^st position and awarded with cash  reward of Rs. 500/-

2.      Miss Ajisha, Anglo Sanskrit Model School Nela secured 2^nd position and awarded with cash reward of Rs. 300/-

3.      Miss Manpreet Singh, SVM Mahajan Bazaar Mandi secured 3^rd position and awarded with cash reward of Rs. 200/-

 

 

CASE OF EXCISE ACT                                

2.      Case FIR No. 154/15 dated 23/06/15 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Balh by SI Kuldeep Chand I/O of PS Balh that on  23/6/15 at about 5:15 PM he was on patrolling along with other police party at Gutkar, he  received a secret information that Prem Kumar S/O Khem Chand R/O VPO Behna is selling liquor in his shop without any permit/license. When  they raided at his shop, recovered 24 bottles of Country liquor. SI Kuldeep Chand I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.

CASE OF ACCIDENT

3.      Case FIR No. 155/15 dated 24/06/15 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Balh on the complaint of Sh. Rajnish S/O Basant Singh R/O Village Kot PO Chunahan Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi that on  23/6/15 at 9:15 PM  he was going to his home with Inder Singh who was riding the motorcycle no. HP33C 4614 very rashly. And when they reached at  near Lohardi Inder Singh loose control on his motorcycle and fell down, due to which they got injuries. SI Vikash Kumar I/O PS Balh is investigating the case.

 

 

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

4.      Case FIR No. 92/15 dated 24/06/2015 U/S 341,323, IPC has been registered at PS  Jogindernagar on the complaint of Sh. Prem Pal S/O Sh. Sohan Lal  R/OVill. & PO Bassi Tehsil& PS Jogindernagar  Distt Mandi HP  that on 23/06/15 he was coming to his home with vinay kumar, and when they   reached at quarter of vinay kumar then  Panku S/O Sh. Jagdumba Parsad R/O Vill. Chho PO Chalharg Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt Mandi HP obstruct their way and beat them up.  In this incident they sustained injuries. ASI Rajesh kumar I/C PP Bassi is investigating the case.

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

5.      Case FIR No. 156/15 dated 23/06/15 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Sarkaghat by ASI Rajesh that he was on patrolling along with other Police Officials at Khouda and during the course  of patrolling he recovered 3 bottles of country liquor from the possession  of  Rajan Pal S/o Sh. Puran Chand R/O VPO Khouda, Tehsil Sarkaghat, Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Rajesh Kumar is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

6.      187 Challans were issued under M.V. Act and fine of Rs. 33600/- has been recovered and 21 Challans has been issued under COTPA Act and fine of Rs. 2200/- has been recovered during last 24 hours.
