CASE OF EXCISE ACT

1. Case FIR No. 287/12  dated 28/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat by SI Reet Devi SHO P.S. Sarkaghat  that today she was on patrolling along with other police officials at Chowk and during the course of patrolling she   recovered 1,17,000 ML (156 bottles) country liquor & 9000 ML (12 bottles) English wine  further investigation of the case is being carried out by SI Reeta Devi SHO P.S. Sarkaghat. 

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

2. Case FIR No. 104/12  dated 27/10/12 U/S 61 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by HC Prem Singh No. 75 I.O. of P.S. Padhar that on 27/10/12 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Gurahla and during the course of patrolling he check the HRTC Bus (HP53-3659) and recovered 2500 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Hari Ram S/O Sh. Tawantu Ram R/O Vill. Digali PO Harabag Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi (HP). Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Prem Singh No.75 I.O. of P.S. Padhar.

ARREST  OF ACCUSED IN PREVIOUS CASE

3. Accused Naveen Kumar S/O Sh. Lal Chand R/O VPO Jahu Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur (HP) has been arrested by the local police of P.S. Sarkaghat who was wanted in case FIR No. 255/12 dated 19/09/12 U/S 325,323,504,506 IPC who is being produced before the Ld. Court.

CASE OF GAMBLING ACT

4. Case FIR No. 292/12 dated 27/10/12 U/S 13 of Gambling Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Amar Nath I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi that on 27/10/12 at about 05.30 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Old Bus Stand Mandi and during the course of patrolling he found that Krishan Kumar S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Bari Gumanu Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP), Ramesh Kumar S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Lower Samkhetar, Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Ranu Ram R/O Bhatwar PO Sadyana Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi and Deepak Kaushal S/O Sh. Khem Chand R/O Smakhetar Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi were gambling in the rest room of bus stand and recovered cash of worth Rs. 3400/- from their possession. ASI Amar Nath I.O. of  P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CHALLAN

5. 87 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 26000/-    was recovered under M.V. Act and  3 challans were  issued under COTPA and fine of  Rs. 400/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
