1. Case FIR NO. 262/12 dated 30/09/12 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by ASI Ram Lal that on 30/09/12 at about 05.35 PM he laid a nakka along with other police officials at Sukkibain and during the course of nakka he recovered 470 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Inder Singh S/O Sh. Todar Mal R/O Vill. Sat PO Jalugrain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu (HP) and 500 Gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Sukhdayal S/O Sh. Durgar Dutt R/O Vill. Sat PO Jalugrain Tehsil Sadar Distt. Kullu (HP). Both accused have been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by ASI Ram Lal I/C P.P. Pandoh.
CASE UNDER FOREIGNERS ACT
2. Case FIR No. 263/12 dated 30/09/12 U/S 14 of Foreigners Act has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi by SI (Prob.) Chand Kishore that on 30/09/12 at about 09.30 PM he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Bus Stand Mandi and during the course of patrolling he found that a foreigner was wandering here and there and on suspicion he asked his name and he revealed out as Stan S/O Sh. Alexander resident of Russia. On this he was asked to produce his Visa and passport but he failed to produce above both legal documents. SI (Prob.) Chand Kishore is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
3. Case FIR 155/12 dated 30/09/12 U/S 61 Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Jogindernagar by HC Raj Mal No. 875 I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Ghatasani and during the course of patrolling he recovered 750 ML country liquor, 11500 ML English wine and 4500 ML bear from the possession of Ramesh Chand S/O Sh. Roop Singh R/O Ghatasani PO Gumma Tehsil Jogindernagar Distt. Mandi. Accused has been arrested and further investigation of the case is being carried out by HC Raj Mal No. 875 I.O. of P.S. Jogindernagar.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 269/12 dated 30/09/12 U/S 341,323,504, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nand Lal S/O Sh. Bhadur Singh R/O Kawal Kot PO Kothi Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi that on 30/09/12 at about 07.30 PM three persons in drunken state obstructed his way and beat him up. SI (Prob.) Vinod Kumar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
5. Case FIR No. 116/12 dated 01/10/12 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Sagar S/O Sh. Sukh Ram R/O Vill. Bangale PO & Tehsil Ghuri Distt. Dang (Nepal) that on 30/09/12 at about 07.15 PM he along with Sh. Khem Singh and Sh. Narain Singh were going from Bagachanogi to Chedhakhad by tractor (HP65-1982) which was driven by Roshan Lal S/O Smt. Churi Devi R/O VIll. Harnach PO Kalhanidhar Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP). When said tractor reached at Dhawas Nala, Roshan Lal lost control over said tractor and it rolled down about 100 meter downward. In this accident Roshan Lal driver of said ill-fated tractor and Khem Singh died on the spot.
CASE OF BURGLARY AND THEFT
6. Case FIR No. 169/12 dated 01/10/12 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Kamal Soni S/O Sh. Adeep Soni R/O H. No. 275/8 Ropa Bhojpur Ward No. 8 Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi that on 01/10/12 at about 12.10 AM some unknown persons broke the lock of his shop and stole away three laptop of Dell Make, one laptop of Samsung make, one laptop of Toshiba make, 10 chargers and 20 pieces of RAM. Approximately value of stolen property is about Rs. 2,00,000/-. SI Madan Lal I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
7. 103 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 11,000/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 13 challans were issued under COTPA and fine of Rs. 1500/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
