CRIME REPORT ON 27 AUG

CASE OF MURDER

1.     Case FIR No. 132/16 dated 27/08/2106 U/S 302 IPC has been registered in P.S. Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Ghanshyam S/O Sh. Jor Singh R/O Vill. Kadah Ropa PO Baga Chanogi Tehsil Thunag District Mandi (HP) that Smt. Krishna Devi aged 20 years old is his niece and she was married with Sh. Ashok Kumar R/O Gohar two years ago but after one year of their marriage they have been separated by taking divorce and presently she was  residing with complainant as father of his niece Krishna Devi had expired. On 26/08/2016 at about 06.30 PM, Smt. Krishana Devi went to Bhatkidhar to purchase domestic articles and about 08.30 PM Krishana  Devi made  call to her sister Praveena Devi and requesting  to send the uncle to Bhatkidhar as she was being beaten. As per this he went to upward and saw two torch light and at that time he has received  call from his wife Kirna Devi that Krishan is also being searched by others therefore he returned back to home. He narrated this to his brothers and all other villagers gathered there and they all went towards Bungadhar to search out Smt. Krishaa Devi and  about 2.30 AM, 500 mtrs downward to Bungadhar, they saw of dead body of deceased Krishana Devi and found that there are sharp weapon cut on her hands, neck and head. He has doubt that some unknown persons murdered his niece Smt. Krishan Devi.

          On receiving information Team of Mandi Police led by Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal, Dy.S.P. (Hqrs) Mandi and Inspr. Chand Kishore SHO P.S. Gohar rushed to the spot immediately and team of RFSL also visited  the spot to collect evidences. Post-mortem of the dead body will be carried out Z.H. Mandi by the team of experts including forensic experts. The motive of murder is apparently illicit relations. On Suspicion three persons namely Subhash Chand, Nirml @ Ninju and Roshan Lal have been detained and arrests of the accused will be made accordingly. Inspr. Chand Kishore SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case under the close supervision of Sh. Hitesh Lakhanpal, Dy.S.P. (Hqrs.) Mandi (HP)

ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSONS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN VEHICLES

2.     In a major breakthrough Mandi Police recovered stolen Tata Sumo in FIR No.202/16 dated 09/08/2016 P.S. Sundernagar (stolen from Slapper) bearing No. HP28A-0728 valuing Rs. 1,37,000/- from Bharmaur in Chamba district alongwith accused Sunil Kumar R/O Ropar.

3.     Another accused Sanjay Kumar S/O Sh. Nikku Ram R/O Chalamadelag Tehsil Ghumarwin District Bilaspur (HP) who has also been arrested in a stolen scooter case from P.P. Dehar and scooter No. HP07-4592 valuing Rs. 10,000/- has also been recovered. 

CASE OF ND&PS ACT.

4.     Case FIR No. 77/16 dated 27-08-16 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by ASI Joginder Singh I/O of P.S. Padhar that on 26-08-16 at 6.30 PM he along with his team was on eradication campaign for the destruction of cannabis/opium plants at place Bralang and   they found that 475 plants of  cannabis were cultivated illegally on the fields  Hari Singh S/O Gorkhu Ram Vill Dhangyan PO Sudhar Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi HP. These plants of cannabis have been destructed and case under NDPS Act has been registered against above mentioned persons.  ASI Joginder Singh I/O of P.S.  Padhar is investigating the case.

 

CASE OF EXCISE ACT.

5.     Case FIR No. 74/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 39 of Himachal Pradesh Excise Act 2011 has been registered in P.S. Dharmpur by ASI Harnam Singh I/O P.S. Dharmpur that on today  he was patrolling alongwith other police officials near Village Sari and during patrolling he recovered 7500 ML Country liquor from the possession of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Acchar Singh R/O Village Chhuinghat PO Binga Tehsil Sarkaghat  District Mandi HP. ASI Harnam Singh I/O PS Dharmpur is investigating this Case.   

CASE OF EXCISE ACT

6.     Case FIR No. 131/16 dated  26/08/2016 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by Inspr. Chand Kishore SHO P.S. Gohar that on 26/08/2106 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Fanipara and during patrolling he recovered 5000 ML illicit liquor from the possession of Rattan Chand R/O Fanipara. Inspr.  Chand Kishore SHO P.S. Gohar is investigating the case.

CASE OF HURT BY MEANS OF POISON

7.     Case FIR No. 219/16 dated 26/08/2106 U/S 328,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Smt. Aarti Devi W/O Sh. Banke Bihari VPO Kangu Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) that her husband Banke Bihari, her father-in-law Jeet Ram and mother-in-law Ramjaani beating her since long and they have also tried to harm her by giving poisonous substance in her meal. ASI Jeet Singh Incharge P.P. Slapper is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

8.     Case FIR No. 220/16 dated 26/08/2016 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Suraj Kaundal S/O Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/O Pakhed PO Adhwadi Tehsil Jawalamukhi Distt. Kangra (HP) that  he was crossing the road in the mean time a jeep (HP34D-4484) came from rashly and negligently which was driven by driver Manoj Kumar and hit him due to which he sustained injuries. ASI Krishan Lal I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

9.     Case FIR No. 221/16 dated  26/08/2016   U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by Inspr. Lokinder Singh Negi  that on 26/08/2016 a private bus (HP31B-3215) fell down from the road near Khurhal (Slapper) due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of said bus and in this mishap one female namely Smt. Kanchana Devi W/O Sh. Hans Raj R/O Vill. Ropari Dhawal PO Khurahal Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (HP) aged 24 year old died on the spot and 27 passengers who were boarded said illfated bus sustained injuries. Insp. Lokinder Singh Negi SHO P.S. Sundernagar is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

10.                       Case FIR No. 245/16 dated 26/08/2016 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Smt. Promila Devi W/O Sh. Roshan Lal R/O Vill. Sadwal PO Gehra Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 26/08/2016 she was waiting for bus along with Smt. Indira Devi at Paunta, in the mean time a M/Cycle (HP28A-4874) came very rashly from Jahu side and hit to Smt. Indira Devi who sustained injuries. HC Chaman Lal I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

11.                       Case FIR No. 245/16 dated 26/08/2016 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Yashvir Singh S/O Sh. Jagdish Chand R/O Upper Barot PO Fatehpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 26/08/2016 when he reached at Mohin by his M/Cycle (HP28A-4036) in the mean time an Alto Car (HP01B-0632) came very rashly from opposite side and hit his M/Cycle due to which he sustained injuries.  ASI Thakur Dass is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND INTIMIDATION

12.                       Case FIR No. 218/16 dated 27/08/2016 U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Krishan Chand S/O Sh. Gullu H.No. 138/1 Jawaharnagar Mandi that today he was going by his scooty    and a car (HP33-8543) was standing in front of his scooty. He blew the horn to provide side him, on this driver of said car namely Ramesh Kumar Thakur obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Ram Lal Incharge P.P. City Mandi is investigating the case.

CASE OF CRIMINAL INTIMIDATIN

13.                       Case FIR No. 219/16 dated 27/08/2016 U/S 504,506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Hirda Ram S/O Late Sh. Badri Singh R/O Vill. Drubal PO Kot Tungal Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 25/08/2106 Lal Singh S/O Late Sh. Ganpat Ram R/O Vill. Drubal PO Kot Tungal Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP) threatened him with dire consequences. HC Ram Singh I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

CHALLANS

14.                        239  challans  were issued under    M.V. Act    and  fine of  Rs. 36,400/-   was  recovered  and  12 challans   were  issued  under COTPA and  fine of Rs. 1200/-   was   recovered  during last 24 hours.
