CANNABIS/OPIUM DESTRUCTION CAMPAIGN
1. Mandi Police using mechanized grass cutter in eradication of cannabis in Chuhar Valley (Drang Areas). Such mechanized cutters are very useful for the destruction of cannabis/opium as they are enabling the teams of Mandi Police to cover the large areas for the eradication of cannabis/opium.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
2. Case FIR No. 217/16 dated 22/08/16 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Bhupender Singh S/O Sh. Khem Singh R/O VPO Jamani, Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi HP that on 22/08/16 at 07:45 PM he parked his bus near RTO Office and he was going towards his quarter, in the mean time 3-4 unknown persons obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries. ASI Anand Kishore I.O. of PS Sadar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
3. Case FIR NO 122/16 Dated 22/8/16 U/S 279,337 IPC has been registered in PS Karsog on the Complaint of Sh. Bhisham Chamling S/O Sh. Ajir Man Chamling R/O VPO Shorshan Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi HP that on 22/8/16 at about 12.30 PM when complainant along with his brother Bishnu Chamling , Bhup Singh and Nek Chand were going to Shimla from Shorshan by a Car (HP 30A-0329) which was driven by Nek Chand and when they reached near Kalangar, in the mean time a truck (HP 62A-0282) came from Tattapani side very rashly & negligently which was driven by Khayali Ram S/O Damu Ram Vilage Chanoth PO Bhanthal hit their car due to which Sh. Bhup Singh and Sh. Nek Chand sustained injuries. HC Tej Singh No. 55 I/O PS Karsog is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, RIOTING, HURT, MISCHIEF, CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 128/16 dated 23.08.2016 U/S 323, 427, 147, 148, 149, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in PS Gohar on the complaint of Sh. Hari Singh R/O Village Katehad PO Devdhar, Tehsil Chachiot, District Mandi HP at present Salesman in wine shop Shiva Khad that on 22/08/2016 at about 08.30 PM Bhag Singh S/O Sh. Kamala Ram R/O VPO Shivthana came in intoxicated conduction, abused him and also broke 3-4 bottle of wine in the mean time Tej Singh, Anil, Jeetu, Puran Chand, Harbhajan Singh, Uttam Chand and Ashwani also came there and they all broke the shutter of his wine shop, entered inside the shop and beat him up due to which he sustained injuries. HC Sarwan Kumar I/O PP Janjehali of PS Gohar is investigating the case.
CASE OF CRUELTY BY HUSBAND & HIS RELATIVES AND SUICIDE
5. Case FIR No. 223/16 dated 22/08/2016 U/S 498A,306 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Nag Singh S/O Sh. Sada Nand Vill. Looni PO Chukku Tehsil Padhar Distt Mandi (HP) that his daughter Smt. Reena Devi W/O Naresh Kumar VPO Tikker Tehsil Balh Distt Mandi HP committed suicide by hanging herself nearby her home at Tikker due to harassment and cruelty of her husband Naresh Kumar. Accused Naresh Kumar has been arrested and said accused produced before the Ld. Court and he is awarded 2 days judicial remand. ASI Rajender Thakur I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case. .
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
6. Case FIR No. 222/16 dated 22/08/2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Tek Chand S/O S. Shiv Ram R/O Vill. Darbathu PO Lohara Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi that he was working at Nalsar as labourer, in the mean time a M/Cycle (HP33C-7530) which was ridden by his brother Fagnu Ram along with his wife Lajja Devi came from Nalsar Chowk side towards Baggi and suddenly a truck (HP31A-8611)530) came very rashly from opposite side and hit above M/Cycle and Smt. Lajjja Devi aged 36 years old succumbed to her injuries at the spot. HC Raj Kumar No. 49 I.O. of P.S. Balgh is investigating the case.
CASE OF NDPS ACT
7. Case FIR No. 214/16 dated 23/08/2016 U/S 20 of NDPS Act has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar by HC Nand Lal No. 37 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar that on 23/08/2016 he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Pungh, in the mean time a Bus (HR68A-7889) came from Mandi side and during the course of checking of said bus he recovered 504 gram cannabis (charas) from the possession of Sanju Kumar S/O Sh. Raeshwar Lal Verma R/O Mukusudpura PO Sujabas Tehsil Dattaramgarh District Sikker Rajasthan aged 23 years old. Said accused has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out by HC Nand Lal No. 37 I.O. of P.S. Sundernagar.
CASE OF CRIMINAL TRESPASS, MISCHIEF, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION
8. Case FIR No. 237/16 dated 22/08/2016 U/S 451, 427,323,506,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint Sh. Santosh Kumar S/O Sh. Dutt Ram R/O Vill. Luhakhar PO Thauna Tehsil Sarkagaht Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 22/08/2016 at about 12.30PM he was present in his home, in the mean time Sunil Kumar and Anil Kumar entered in his courtyard and beat him up due to which he sustained injuries and they also broke the pillar of his under construction house. HC Kamal Kant No. 860 I.O. of P.S. Sarkahgat is investigating the case.
CASE OF KIDNAPPING
9. Case FIR No. 238/16 dated 22/08/2016 U/S 363 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Rattan Chand S/O Sh. Rulia Ram R/O Vill. Lnadha PO Fatehpur Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 21/08/2016 his son namely Gulshan Kumar went to Naubahi but he didn't return back to home. He searched his son all places of possible and his relationship but could not traced out so far. He suspects that some unknown culprits abducted his son. SI Karanjeet Singh I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
10. Case FIR No. 71/16 dated 22/08/2016 U/S 39 of H.P. Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Dharampur by Inspr. Amar Singh SHO P.S. Dharampur that he was on patrolling along with other police officials at Baral and during the course of patrolling he recovered 204 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Puran chand S/O Sh. Sudama Ram R/O Vill. Baral PO Baroti Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) which were kept by him in his Kariyan Shop at Baral. Inspr. Amar Singh SHO P.S. Dharampur is investigating the case.
CHALLANS
11. 253 Challans were issued under MV Act and Fine of Rs. 35,400/- was recovered, 14 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and Fine of Rs. 1400/- was recovered and 02 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 4600/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
