CANNABIS/OPIUM DESTRUCTION CAMPAIGN

 1.    Today at 10.45 AM the Eradication campaign for the destruction of cannabis/opium plants cultivated/widely grown in the Mandi District was formally flagged off by Sh. Devesh Kumar, IAS, Div. Comm. Mandi, Sh. Ajay Kumar Yadav, IPS, IGP C.R., Mandi, Sh. Sandeep Kadam, IAS, D.C. Mandi and Sh. Prem Kumar Thakur, IPS, S.P. Mandi from Seri Manch Mandi. This eradication team comprising contingent of two gazetted officers of Dy. S.P. rank along with vehicle around 90 police/HHG officials properly equipped with destruction equipments like grass-cutter equipments etc.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY, HURT AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION

 2.    Case FIR No. 215/16 dated  21.08.2016 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the complaint of Sh. Balkrishan S/O Late Sh. Okhi Ram H. NO. 149/11 Thanehra Muhalla Mandi that he was present in his home, in the mean time  his wife who is living separately obstruct his way, beat him up and threatened to him with dire consequences.   HC Nand Lal No. 80 I/O PP City is investigating the case.

CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT

3.    Case FIR No. 216/16 dated  21.08.2016 U/S 341, 323, 325, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar Mandi on the Complaint of Sh. Man Dass @ Manu S/O Sh. Narayan Singh R/O Village Nihari PO Majhawar, Tehsil Sadar Mandi HP that on 21.08.2016 he was coming from old bus stand towards his house and when he reached near Jainchu Naun near shop of country liquor, in the mean time one person namely Vinod Kumar S/O Sh. Mansukh R/O Jainchu Naun Gujrati Basti and two other persons came there, obstructed his way and beat him up and also threatened him with dire consequences. HC Dola Ram No. 869 I/O PP City is investigating the case.

CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT

4.    Case FIR  No. 221/16 dated 22-8-16 U/S  279 ,337 IPC has been registered in PS Balh on the Complaint of Sh. Aman Chauhan S/O Sh. Joginder Singh R /O  Village Chak-Ka-Gohar PO Bhangrotu Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi that on 22-8-16 at  about 08.45 AM  when complainant was crossing the road along wih his friend Sh. Sameer S/O Sh. Ramzan  R/O VPO Nerchowk, Tehsil and PS Balh,   near Shimla  Automobiles Nerchowk,   in the mean time  a M/Cycle( HP33 B 5136) came rashly driving and hit his friend due to which he sustained injuries.  ASI Rajender Thakur  I/O PS Balh is investigating the Case.

 CHALLANS

 5.    216 Challans were issued under MV Act and Fine of Rs. 33000/- was recovered, 20 Challans were issued under COTPA Act and Fine of Rs. 2000/- was recovered and 02 Challans were issued under Mining Act and fine of Rs. 7200/- was recovered during last 24 hours.
