AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS
Today Mandi Police organized an awareness programme to the students of the Govt. Degree College Mandi in which students were aware about the laws relating to M.V. Act, IT Act and about the menace of drugs.
In addition to above, students were also motivated to cooperate with the police for the
better & quality services.
CASE OF SUICIDE
Case FIR No. 222/14 dated 17/07/14 dated 306, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Gopal Singh S/O Late Sh. Mohan Lal R/O Mahan P.O. Khalanu Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that he is serving in the IPH Department and his younger daughter Ranjna Devi marred with Devender Kumar S/O Sh. Kanshi Ram R/O Kotli Gehri Distt. Mandi (H.P.) On 17/07/14 he came to know that his daughter has died at zonal Hospital and he suspect that his daughter had died due to regular harassment of her husband and her mother-in-law . ASI Chranji Lal I/C of PP Rewalsar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
Case FIR No. 223/14 dated 18/07/14 U/S 279 IPC has been reghistered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Chand S/O Sh. Leehat Ram R/O Archhandi Tehsil Kullu Distt. Kullu that he is serving as a conductor in HRTC . On 18/07/14 he was going from Manali to Chandigarh along with Bus ( HP63-2784) and when he reached at Nerchowk, in the mean time a car came rashly and collided with above bus and HC Dharamender No. 77 I/O of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF MISCHIEF
Case FIR No. 224/14 dated 18/07/14 U/S 436 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the comaplint of Sh. Puran Chand S/O Late Sh. Jaharu Ram R/O Kasarla P.O. Ratti Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that during the intervening night of 17/18-07-14 his nephew Khub Ram set on fire his car and also burnt the luggage kept in the adjacent room . ASI Rajesh Kumar I/O of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
Case FIR No. 66/14 dated 17/07/14 U/S 39 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Padhar by ASI Joginder Singh I/O of P.S. Padhar that he was on patrolling along with other police officials and during the course of patrolling he recovered 9000 ML Country Liquor from the possession of Dalbir Singh S/O Sh. Barham Dass R/O Maswahan P.O. Urla Tehsil Padhar Distt. Mandi (H.P.) ASI Joginder Singh I/O of P.S. Padhar is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY AND HURT
Case FIR No. 159/14 dated 17/07/14 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Prem Chand S/O Sh. Beli Ram R/O Sanoh P.O. Kangoo Tehsil Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that on 17/07/14 Naresh Kumar resident of same locality obstructed his way and beat him up. ASI Rajender Thakur I/C of P.P. Dehar is investigating the case.
CASE OF HURT
Case FIR No. 51/14 dated 17/07/14 U/S 325 , 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar on the complaint of Sh. Suvodh Kumar S/O Sh. Bhaiya Ram R/O Sirka P.O. Tehsil Gumla (Jharkhand) at present C/O Sh. Jagdish Kumar Govt. Contractor I.T. I. Handicapet Building Thunahi Muhalla Sundernagar Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that on 15/07/14 at about 9PM Niraj Kumar and Subhash Chand beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Sanjeev Kumar No. 879 I/O of P.S. BSL Colony Sundernagar is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
Case FIR No. 82/14 dated 17/07/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Aut on the complaint of Sh. Karam Singh S/O Sh. Rewati Ram R/O Bishan P.O. Thaulot Distt. Mandi (H.P.) that on 17/07/14 he was travelling by Private Bus(HP65-2784) and when they reached near Largi Dam, in the mean time above bus collided with Truck (HP23C-4146) due to rash driving of bus's driver and 5/6 person who were boared in the above bus sustained injuries. HC Rajinder Kumar No. 51 I/O of P.S. Aut is investigating the case.
CASE UNDER FOREST ACT
Case FIR No. 76/14 dated 18/07/14 U/S 379 IPC & 41&42 of IF Act has been registered in P.S. Karsog on the complaint of Sh. Gurdass Ram R.O. Forest Range Seri that on 17/07/14 at about 10:30 PM he recovered the 4 Logs of Deudar from the Vehicle(HP30-0447). HC Ram Singh No. 66 I/O of P.S. Karsog is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
226 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 34,100/- was recovered under M.V. Act was recovered during last 24 hours.
