SAFETY MEASURES FOR THE SECURITY OF TEMPLES
1. All caretakers/priests of the temples in Mandi district are requested to install CCTV cameras and alarm systems in the premises of their respective temple in view to nab the culprits and avoid the incidents of thefts. They are also requested that temples are to be locked properly and put the chowkidars on their own level in the premises of temples. All valuables & cash etc. to be kept in lockers or chests.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
2. Case FIR No. 232/14 dated 27/07/14 U/S 39 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Balh by ASI Chiranji Lal Incharge P.P. Rewalsar that on 27/07/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Dehri Galu and during the course of patrolling he recovered 11 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Roop Lal S/O Sh. Moti Ram R/O Dhar PO Rewalsar Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Chiranji Lal Inchgarge P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.
CASE OF EXCISE ACT
3. Case FIR No. 99/14 dated 28/07/14 U/S 39 of Excise Act has been registered in P.S. Gohar by ASI Ajeet Singh Incharge P.P. Janjehli that on 27/07/14 he was on patrolling alongwith other police officials at Janjehli and during the course of patrolling he recovered 12 Bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Vijay Kumar S/O Sh. Mool Chand R/O Majhakhal PO Jarol Tehsil Thunag Distt. Mandi (HP). ASI Ajeet Singh incharge P.P. Janjehli is investigating the case.
CASE OF OBSTRUCTING WAY , HURT AND INTIMIDATION
4. Case FIR No. 257/14 dated 27/07/14 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Rattan Chand R/O Hawani PO Ropari Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 26/07/14 at about 8.15 PM he was present at Sarouri, in the mean time Chirag S/O Sh. Pawan Kumar came along with Vishal Palsara, Vinod Palsara & Ajay Kumar. They all obstructed his way and beat him up and he sustained injuries. HC Hem Raj No. 19 I.O. of P.S. Sarkaghat is investigating the case.

5. Case FIR No. 258/14 dated 27/07/14 U/S 341, 323,34 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sarkaghat on the complaint of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/O Sh. Anant Ram R/O Tatahar PO Nabahi Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi (HP) that he is working as driver with an 108 Ambulance and on 27/07/14 at about 8:15 PM he was going to Kandyohal along with associate driver Sushil Kumar by Ambulance and on the way Mukesh Banyal & Sanjay Banyal obstructed their way and beat up both of them and they sustained injuries. ASI Rakesh Kumar I.O. of Sarkaghat is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
6. Case FIR No. 179/14 dated 28/07/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Sadar on the complaint of Smt. Indira Devi W/O Sh. Amin Chand R/O Jagar PO Pandoh Tehsil Sadar Distt. Mandi (HP) that on 28/07/14 at about 7:30 AM she was crossing the road at Jagar, in the mean time Car(HP58-6114) came rashly from Kullu side and hit her and she sustained injuries. HC Yoginder Pal No. 39 I.O. of P.S. Sadar Mandi is investigating the case.

7. Case FIR No. 233/14 dated 28/07/14 U/S 341, 323, 504 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Smt. Ratni Devi W/O Sh. Dina Nath R/O Khandla PO Kummi Tehsil Balh Distt. Mandi (HP) that on today Meera Devi W/O Sh. Amar Singh resident of the same locality obstructed her way and beat her up and she sustained injuries. HC Vijay Kumar No. 866 I.O. of P.S. Balh is investigating the case.
CASE OF ROAD ACCIDENT
8. Case FIR No. 234/14 dated 28/07/14 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in P.S. Balh on the complaint of Sh. Om Parkash S/O Sh. Lal Singh R/O Surari P.O. Khadehad Tehsil Kotli Distt. Mandi (HP) that he is posted as driver in HRTC Depot Mandi today he was on its way from Rewalsar towards Mandi route and when he reached near Safdu, in the mean time Motor Cycle(PB02AX-2687) came rashly from Mandi side and struck with his bus and both the occupants of said M/Cycle sustained injuries. ASI Chiranji Lal Incharge of P.P. Rewalsar is investigating the case.
CHALLAN
9. 165 challans were issued and fine of Rs. 32,600/- was recovered under M.V. Act and 4challans were issued under COTPA & fine of Rs. 400/- was recovered during last 24 hours
